We stayed here twice, the night before we started the Bolaven Plateau motorbike loop and the night after we finished. Good location to the bus station and right next to Miss Noy's motorbike hire place (which we highly recommend). Beds were really quite comfortable for Asia. Shower good and warm. TV didnt work but I doubt there would have been a channel we would understand. Make sure you get a room near the back of the hotel though as the road is really noisy! (I'm partially deaf and wore earplugs and it still had me awake most the night on our first stay!) Also a 6am check in which we loved after we got off our sleeper bus at 6am!!

It was very good value. 15 Euros for a clean twin room. In the restaurant downstairs I had the best morning glory vegetable plate ever. Fantastic fried shrimps. Just delicious food. The staff was friendly. Th only disadvantage is the fact that it is on main street that means you have quite some noise from the cars.

They have two type of rooms: the most expensive (12-15 USD) are larger, facing the main street and have AC while the budget ones (10 USD) are smaller, facing the side street and they do not have AC. Both are very clean, with TV, attached bathroom, hot water. The personnel is very kind and helpful. The only negative point is the breakfast (which is not included in the room price): very poor (half baguette, one small portion of jam and butter) and we have to wait quite long to be served even though we were the only two customers and there were 5 waitress/cook chatting all the time.

I stayed here en route to Si Phan Don, and returned after my trip for another 4 nights. I stayed in different rooms, the single and the double, and found them both very satisfactory and great value for money. I really enjoyed my stay, the room was very clean and modern, and the shower hot. WiFi worked well and was reasonably quick. I asked for a quiet room on my second stay, and indeed got a room not overlooking the Main Street, and I slept very well. The young man that works on reception during the day is very nice and helpful, and will always welcome you with a smile. No complaints with the room or reception at all. The only negative on this hotel is the restaurant. The food is below average and the service dreadful. You certainly won’t get any pleasantries from the ladies that work there, even if you are very nice to them. Breakfast isn’t included in the room rates though, and there are lots of great restaurants nearby, so don’t let it put you off a visit to this hotel :)

the staff are friendly and fairly helpful. the hotel is what it says on the tin: a roof, a bed, a shower. no frills but ok for 1 or 2 nights. it has a great location and the travel agency next door is great. there's also laundry service next door. it's pretty basic and they could invest in less aggressive lighting. the worst thing is breakfast. the choice is dismal and the service terrible

We only stayed here for 1 night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. There are no lifts in this hotel. The room we had was spacious had a shared balcony and we were on the road side, however it wasn't really loud. You do get the odd LOUD car go by though.... We were lucky to witness the sunset from our room. The price we paid for was a little bit pricey and that was just the room only no breakfast included. The hotel was in a good location.

We spent a night in Pakse after a more rustic experience in the Bolaven Plateau, and the Phi Dao Hotel felt luscious. It is a standard hotel, clean and comfortable. The room size was good, very reasonable price. Staff was generally kind and accommodating. The restaurant downstairs was good too. It is centrally located with lots of great places to eat, tourist information, laundry service, etc. on the same block. Can't complain! The remainder of our trip in Laos, we stayed in guesthouses and smaller rural accommodations, and to note, this is a standard multi-story hotel that doesn't have the same level of charm and local connection as a guesthouse. The hotel's location was a bit noisy, on the main strip. We asked for room in the back and the noise wasn't much of a problem. One thing, the housekeeper delivered extra water bottles to our room when she was doing her rounds and we ended up being charged for them, not sure the policy on that. A few notes on Pakse, we were not expecting much, but ended up enjoying our time there. Pakse was the culinary highlight of our Laos trip. The noodle shop across the street from the hotel offers awesome pho breakfasts with the locals. We mixed it up and ate Italian for dinner and noticed there is a variety of international food selections, even the greens and rice and smoothie from the Phi Dao restaurant was tasty. There is lots of good and readily available tourist information in Pakse, which can be sparse in other areas, a good place to get some info and consider taking a day trip out of. The city also had a unique vibe that was nice and a little hard to put into words. Be sure to ride in one of the moterbike side-car "taxis" for a fun experience and very clear view of the city.

Good basic hotel, we enjoyed our time here. A little bit pricey especially without breakfast included. The bed sheets were stained with a tint of yellow, need replacing. But no other issues. Good location.

Good clean spacious room with a tv, air cond and a fridge. Room has a balcony too. They can lock your bike up at night for safety too. Only draw back was the wifi wasn't great but its hit n miss all over laos anyway. Central location with lots of shops/restaurants.
