Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hôtel is OK and some staff were pleasant.. However the area has lots of dogs. If you are lucky enough not to be attacked getting to the hotel then those dogs will definitely stop you sleeping.

There are a few dining options within a kilometer but most of the bars restaurants are a good half hour walk away

To say this hotel is close to the ancient town is a gross overstatement. Gruff unhelpful staff with little training in hospitality. The room had all the charm of a 70s bedsit minus the charm of a 70s bedsit. What's the point?

I've booked this hotel twice (each stay from one night). I stayed in the hotel both of the nights and I paid (again both of the nights). Few days after the took one night from my credit card saying that I didn't show up! Thief.

Was greeted by a man with great English who thankfully let me check in early after my long bus ride! Sadly I never saw him again, and the other staff levels of English vary, some speak none at all!!

My room was clean and spacious with it own balcony. Free water, towels, soap and shampoo are provided. There is also a mini bar and a tv with English channels in the room.

The shower sadly didn't get that hot, and the water didn't drain well leaving the bathroom floor flooded for a long time after.

The wifi is really good but sadly only works in reception. There is wifi thought out the building but it didn't work during my stay.

Whilst sat using the wifi in reception a member of staff continuously burped loudly for the entire 20 minutes I was sat down stairs. What a rude pig.... I was Not overly impressed.

The location of the hotel is quite far from the main restaurants and cafe, and being low season the hotels own restaurant is closed so you have to walk to the main town for food.

I wouldn't not stay here again, but I feel you can stay in places with a better location than here.

Buses can be booked here also.

We really enjoyed our stay here; we had initially planned to only stay one night as we were heading to Vientiane but stayed another because we liked Pakse so much. The rooms are big with a tv, fridge and air conditioning and the staff are very nice and friendly! Very reasonable and a decent breakfast for just 10,000 kip which is just a little over a dollar.

Booked this place through booking.com. I wanted a place close to the mekong, but the actual location is north to road 13. Arriving after a very bumpy overnight bus ride from Vientiane to Pakse, all I wanted was to sleep, But there was some building going on. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff friendly

Avoid this place. It's cheap but I have stayed in far better accomodation for the price. It's location isn't great as it's a bit far from the centre and room we stayed in was in a sorry state. The fan was basically hanging off the ceiling and offered little to counteract the sweltering conditions in the room. Bathroom is ok but no hot water. Staff were helpful enough but this places needs some TLC big time.

We booked a room for one night after a long bus journey from Hue to Pakse. Knowing that we might arrive late, we sent the hotel an E-Mail, to which they answered that check-in would be open until midnight. Once we arrived almost at two a.m., the door was still open and somebody immediately got up to help us with the check-in and showing us our room.

Even though the hotel itself is nothing special, their service was admireable!

We stayed here for 2 nights just after we did our Bolaven Plateau Loop. Our room was very spacious, the A/C unit cooled the room quite fast. The beds were big and comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. Wifi worked in our room fine. Breakfast was included with our rate, nothing special, pretty basic but its something.
The location wasn't ideal, probably about 20mins- 30mins walk to the city. The opposite way was the bridge, my sister went for a run to the bridge to catch the sunset-(beautiful sunsets btw). Good place to go running towards...

The staff were lovely and friendly.
