Good place if you are searching for something cheap. The garden is nice and it is a quiet place away from the main road (route 13). Rooms are very old an very basic and not very clean. It is a good place if you don't care about anything fancy but just to sleep. Would give it 3,5 stars if possible,...

Basic rooms but clean and very inexpensive, just 60.000k for a double room (with bathroom). Very friendly staff and at a great location in the centre of town close to everything you need. We absolutely loved the huge, green garden (courtyard-style). It's very peaceful and very quiet here. A perfect place for long-term travelers to stay for a while. This...

Given the low price (50000 kip - 6 € - a night), this is an excellent place. You might have to look at a few rooms before you find one where at least one light and the fan works but you get a fantastic central riverside location, big rooms and a very nice owner. I especially liked the fact that...

We were really disappointed by the place. Dont get me wrong, we have an idea what can be expected in laos but it seemed that nobody cared a bit about the place. We have seen much more value for the same money. First of all, our booking was not registered. Yet, we were shown to a room which was spacious...

The family who runs this business is so kind and helpful. This is a local place so don't expect air conditioner or luxury bathrooms but something great for backpackers who are not to fuzzed about accomodation. Laundry service abd beers at a local rate. Good wifi and views to the river.

The non-aircon bungalows are basic and a little grubby but not awful. There was no mozzie net in my bungalow so I finally got to use the one I've been lugging around with me! The shower was 'cold' but certainly not an issue in October. The owner is friendly and gardens pleasant and peaceful. There are however cleaner and better...

I rocked up with a tuk-tuk driver at 2 AM and after ringing the bell and calling the office, one of the staff members opened the gate and showed me to a room. I had already tried to find another guesthouse at that time, but unlike this one, they didn't make an effort to take one more backpacker in at...

I'm sure there is probably worse, but my husband and I (both seasoned S E Asia budget travellers) have never come across any accomodation as poor as Sedone for the money paid. The mattresses were thin and basic (but clean enough); there was no bottom sheet on the bed, but we were provided with a blanket; the electrical points sparked...

The thing that brought us here on that first day in Pakse is being on the riverfront, having come from the south Mekong area, but the location is pointless and actually quite poor. There's a loud barrage of music directly behind the rooms, which thankfully ceases sometime around 10. They have (two) great open courtyard(s) with... One bench and one...

I'll start my review by saying two things: 1) I have an incessant knack for finding redeeming features in even the most basic service & accommodation (hence, I very rarely give 1 or 2 stars) 2) I have absolutely no patience for those who travel on a beer budget (like me) yet expect a champagne level of comfort... ...but I...
