Partner and me stayed here for one night while passing through Pakse and were relieved it wasn’t for longer to be honest. The facilities weren’t unclean but the showers were a bit annoying, one had only cold water, one had warm water but the soap dispenser was empty. There was just always something small and annoying in each one. The beds were comfy - however, we booked to stay in a 10 bed mixed dorm and one of our beds smelt really bad of body odour. Clearly the sheets hadn’t been changed. Small credit to the staff, I went down and requested it be changed and it was done immediately but I hadn’t checked the duvet initially, so when I asked for a replacement of this, he just grabbed one off another bed. Shortly after, the occupant of this bed came up to find his duvet missing and I had to awkwardly explain that staff had taken it and given it to me. This is a bit unorganised of staff and they should know which beds are occupied and which aren’t, especially as there were only four occupants in the room at the time. Wouldn’t want to stay here again.

I stayed 2 nights in mixed dorm. It's very Ok. Modern styling with ample facilities. It's not so large so you are unlikely to queue for anything. Reception is 'manned'by 'Ta' who is always smiling, speaks really good English and seemingly can solve any problem you give him. PAKSE is worth staying for a text day between long journeys.
