Travelled with a group of girlfiends. Six of us in total. We stayed in bldg three which was perfect. we had the lobby to our left, the buffet straight a head and pool to the right. The beach was a bit out of the way as we had to go to the other side of the resort to get to it. Pool was great though. Food- in my 8 trips to Cuba, this resort had the worse food. There were two days with no eggs in the morning, twice with no bread, and six says with no spaghetti sauce. I was a little disappointed, but I didn't go there to eat :) Entertainment was ok, ,nothing great. Show's got a little boring, time to step it up I think. Rooms were very clean and always well stocked. I would definitely return to this resort for its convenience. The staff was great . The place was beautiful. :)

We went for the May long weekend as a family trip for my daughters wedding !!!! with Sunwing vacations. This time our experience with Sunwing was the worst….. lost our luggage before we departed montreal.... Yes it happens lol ! our rep at the resort was of no help whatsoever for any issue. We had VIP (club) junior suite room, beautiful room with so so view. We left a couple bucks daily along with requests for additional towels and cola/water, which we never received but Overall the room was nice and clean. the fridge was not restocked after day 1 ... not good ! The All meals were CRAP...... nothing to do with the rationing happening in cuba, as other resorts in the same location had plenty of food. some days we did not eat at all as there were so few options !!! With VIP, you have access to a VIP snack bar which also ran out of many items on the menu. Dont waste your money on the lobster dinner. it cost you 20 pesos plus 1 out of the 2 a la carte you have. The pools at the PVM are very modern and quite spectacular and chairs are always available.only hick, on the VIP (adult side) the music was put down because two older grumpy couple did not like it.... so 44 poeple paid for the two old grumpy couple. Yes there is a quiet pool, but hey that was too simple to move there. The grounds are very well keep, beautiful flowers. Very lovely. One thing, they need to amp up their english. only spanish gets complicated.... love Cuba, we will go back but not at the PVM ... Sorry!

Came here for my destination wedding. Wedding was beautiful, but it and the reception/meal after was far overpriced. Only two staff working our dinner and food was coming out cold because they could not keep up. Rooms are very nice, although the doors to the balcony are not sealed well and we had ants in our room all week. Most bartenders/service staff were friendly. Our last day has been terrible however. We are staying on the adult VIP club side. An oldder couple complained that the was music at the pool and it was too loud, so the staff refused to play music at our pool today. Apparently two people dictate the experience for the rest of the 40+ people on the adult side that we brought with us. We feel as soon as the wedding was done they did not care about us anymore, after I had spent my ridiculous amount of money already on it. I went and talked to Judy in customer service, was told music would be put back on, and if didn't come back on at the pool until the couple who had complained the previous day left. Food is also not very good compared to other resorts I've been at in Cuba, and it's basically a crapshoot of whats available each day.

We had a great time this hotel was called sercotel at the time of our visit. The food definitely needs improvement but the staff were amazing! Especially Yeleni Martinez Roque she was soooooo good to my kids and always spent so much time making sure their trip was a success! I was grateful for her attention and care for my kids because it gave me a chance to relax and enjoy the vacation. Thank you Yeleni! This hotel would def be where we return if we go back to Las Brujas!

This review is the continuation of my first one. Often I do 2 reviews on my trips depending on how my writing goes while I write. Sometimes everything comes out the first time but sometimes it is on 2. This one had to be on 2. The reason it is easy. I want to designate it to all the people that make part of our stay amazing because they are there to keep us entertained and so that we have a good time. Don’t get me wrong, all staff of the resort I met at Playa are needed and do a great job, and always smiling to us with a beautiful hello. Playa Vista Mar animation team: Manager Adnier Second Manager Anier (DJ) Yamikel DJ Animation group: Jesús , Danaisy, Luisito, David and Calderon. Miniclub: Yelenis, Ana Some names may be missing because it is hard to remember all. These people take care of us and make sure we have a great time either day time or night time. They play with children to make sure they have fun, do competitions for children, families and adults at the beach and the family pool. They make sure there is music for a greater ambiance. At night they animate the night shows. A different theme per night from the magician show to dancing one. Most of them got to know them through the years going to CSM strip. I seen there dedication and they are still doing it with love. Our appreciation is what they keep them going because there goals are to make us having a great time. I want to thank all of them for the good work they do for us. Thank you Playa Vista Mar for that great team you have.
