Our room was extremely comfortable and perfectly equipped, very quiet, everything you'd expect at this level. Maybe a bit small for a 5 stars but this is quite understandable given the peculiar architecture of the hotel. The small spa is very welcoming, the breakfast is exceptional and the service, in line with that of the restaurant is sophisticated bof not pretentious. Price (almost!) reasonable for the lev of the prestations. Absolutely recommended.

We stayed at La Bouitte for two days and I can safely say I have never experienced the all-around quality of this hotel. The amount of detail they put into everything without making you feel uncomfortable is surreal. And the food? From their three starred Michelin restaurant, to their breakfast buffet, to the pastries they treat you to in your room and when you go away, it was one of the most delicious and fresh I've had in France. Finally, the place is so quiet and peaceful, the staff is always smiling and make you feel at home. It's the perfect place to recharge, I totally recommend!

We stayed in a suite, sadly for only one night. Everything about the hotel is superb, luxurious and the highest quality.

The customer service from all staff members that we met was exceptional. They couldn't have been more helpful. The food and wine in the 3 Michelin * restaurant was, as expected, at an entirely new level. And the suite was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable.

We appreciated the pastries in our room on arrival and also our leaving gifts which included a large pastry, water for our journey, a Relais & Châteaux guide and the menu from our dinner on the previous evening.

We travel a fair bit but this was the best hotel we have ever stayed in.

Bravo et merci!

Incredible stay. One of the most special stays that I will ever have. The staff were attentive, gracious and kind. The rooms were comfortable and welcoming, and often has local, home made treats brought to them. I felt that we truly had a luxury experience, but one that was very in tube with the mountain setting. We were in the heart of the mountains, but had the benefit of an effortless, relaxing stay

Incredible. The staff at La Bouitte is over the top helpful. Maybe the best staff of any hotel I've stayed at. Every part of the property is beautiful. The rooms are pretty, well appointed, and cozy. La Bouitte is truly a very special place. You can tell that the Meilleur family is trying hard to make the hotel and restaurant the best they can possibly be.

The food (both dinner and breakfast) are amazing. I've been lucky enough to eat at a number of 3 Michelin starred restaurants and at many other top restaurants, so I had high expectations for the dinner at La Bouitte. Those expectations were exceeded. My dinner at La Bouitte is possibly my favorite meal of all time. Neither the dinner nor the hotel are cheap, but they are both somehow still an great value.

My only criticism is that the guest rooms could use a bit more light in the evenings!

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel during the Summer of 2021. We arrived by camper Van, and wanted to go road cycling.
The hotel is family-led, and held in the style of the surrounding villages. Its style blends in perfectly, with the surroundings, but still works great as a luxury hotel. It is not comparable with a Grand Luxury hotel, but has so much Charme and coziness to it.
The rooms were clean, the staff was nice and helpful, we liked all of this a lot.
We really enjoyed the people being from the area and the especially the food. The bread and pastries were fantastic. All the food from the area is amazing.
The views from the hotel restaurants terrace is fanatics, too.

We also enjoyed the little Spa a lot.
Lastly, I can really recommend the area for Road cycling. I did one ride up Col de la Loze, and the again up to Val Thorens. Beautiful and brutal, both have recently featured in the Tour de France.
Also, the Col de la Madeleine is right around the corner, and the climb from Feissons is amazing!

I can only recommend this hotel to everyone who enjoy luxury and coziness, and feeling welcome in a family surrounding.

Having driven a thousand miles to the hotel from the North of England first impressions were not good; we were scowled at by the owner and not even offered a welcome drink!

The hotel clearly prides itself on its restaurant and I'm afraid it would appear its staying guests, who are paying over 300 Euros per night for the privilege, play second fiddle. This is clear from the fact that breakfast is served in the basement next to the toilets; it is not apparent why the residents cannot eat in the dining room upstairs. Breakfast is basic to say the least and prepared by the hotel's driver; bacon and eggs appear to be a step too far. As was explained to us the Michelin star chef does not prepare breakfast (clearly such a task being beneath him.) The hotel does offer to deliver breakfast to your room, however, when this arrived one morning the coffee and hot chocolate were stone cold. The hotel makes out that it is doing you a favour by delivering your breakfast but fails to acknowledge the reason they offer the service in the first place is because of the great distance between the suite and the hotel.

We were staying in one of the hotel's suites which we had been advised prior to booking was just a couple of minutes away from the hotel. In fact the suite is a good five minute drive from the hotel and anyone attempting to walk would be in danger of being run over as it would be necessary to walk in the road when snow is on the ground. On a more positive note the suite is beautiful and kept immaculately clean every day by two lovely ladies who are extremely kind. Perhaps the owner and the rest of the team could take a leaf out of their book!

On two occasions there was no hot water and when we rang reception to advise them of the situation we were simply told: "you must wait and it will be ok." Not quite the response we were looking for!

The so called spa is in the hotel's basement and consists of a few wooden chairs, a tiny massage room, hay bed, hot tub (luke warm) and sauna. The door to the sauna is soo low it is almost necessary to get onto your hands and knees and crawl inside. Many of the floor tiles in spa area are loose and broken. It was clear that the therapist was embarrassed at the state of the floor as she advised us to be careful as the floor was dangerous!

Given the extremely disappointing experience we had with breakfast we did not think it would be wise to spend over 300 Euros on dinner just in case that was also such a disappointment. However, we would recommend a charming restaurant, La Voute, in the village of Saint Martin.

Overall a very expensive and disappointing experience.

We stayed at la Bouitte for a 5 night skiing break in what we hoped would be a romantic high quality boutique ski lodge style hotel. We booked one of the junior suites for the added benefit of an open fire in the room. As an extra treat we had an evening meal in the 2 Michelin star restaurant.

Everything about the meal was excellent, other than perhaps the price but that was what we expected! The waiters were fun and engaging whilst being discrete and the service was excellent. We had the Chef's Surprise menu with wines to match and we couldn't fault it.....other than perhaps serving pollenta as one of the four "Surprises"!

As an hotel however the place is a disappointment. Hotel guests are clearly second class citizens. Reception staff have that wonderful distain of the customer facing French and accessing the rooms through the restaurant via the access to the toilets is not what we expected. The "spa" is quite frankly a bit of a joke. We took breakfast in the room which was good but outrageously expensive at €70/day for bread, croissant, pastry, coffee and orange juice for 2 people. Our room comprised a nice enough bedroom but our idea of relaxing evenings in-front on the open fire in the lounge area (Hallway into the room) was a non-starter as the fire would only light on one of the evenings and the "sofa" was tiny and uncomfortable.

We raised these points verbally and in writing with the hotel but they were totally disinterested and didn't even bother replying to our e mail after the stay.

Our advice.....eat at the restaurant as a treat but stay elsewhere!!

We absolutely loved our stay in La Bouitte ! Hotel is really charming, staff is adorable and food was outstanding...

Rene and Maxime are working extremely hard in order to get their third michelin star.

By no means it is cheap, but our stay was worth every penny. I can only recommend it !
