El Cortijo is a charming, beautifully decorated boutique hotel in Cachi. Our room was spacious, well appointed & comfortable. The hotel is on the main road from Cachi to Salta- a real gem. Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was decent - the usual ham & cheese, fruit, yogurt, & pastries. It's a short walk to the town... More

Among all the dust and rough roads, this place was like an oasis. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, the comforters warm and on a cold night - most welcome. Room was small, but with a welcoming lobby and common area, that was not a problem. Would definitely stay again and do... More

A lovely, quirky, interesting luxury hotel. The room was large, with old furniture, rustic wooden roof and a big painting of some goats! My room had a window next to the corridor which overlooked a downstairs courtyard, which meant you had to keep the curtain sort of closed for privacy, that would be my only grumble, it didn't matter that... For those visiting the area, no doubt following route 40, this is a fantastic place to stay! It has a wonderful uniqueness about it, with each room being distinctively decorated. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and happy to help in any way they can. The breakfast was quite simple, but had the usual items you'd expect. This is perhaps... More

We arrived in a small hotel, friendly staff and a nice place to stay. The room was clean, but dark. It had a small window and no view. No airconditioning and with the window open still very warm. The hotel itself is very nice and tasteful decorated. So a must go, but not room #9.

A really lovely little hotel in a very peaceful setting. Stayed here for one night before continuing our drive, and they agreed to start breakfast a little early for us so that we could get on the road in time to make our flight from Salta. The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and very nicely decorated. Also ate... More

This hotel is a lovely and peaceful, it is superbly decorated and offers many places to relax. It is a few blocks from the small town square. The breakfast offered is freshly made and includes fresh juices, home made pastries and fruit. The only limitation is poor wifi.
