Lovely country Inn on 56 private acres with gardens, streams, water falls and meadows filled with sheep and cows. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques, private sitting rooms and a private dining room. The restaurant serves delicious breakfasts and dinners cooked by a private professional chef. The rooms are charmingly appointed with English prints and comfortable beds. Lawrence and...

We were in the motel rooms a little bit away from the main house . However the room and bathroom were very adequate and clean. The staff of the hotel were exceptionally helpful and charming in responding to requests. The food was excellent and well cooked and as far as our party could assess from local producers. The views from...

Very impressed last year and delighted this year. The service is impeccable and so personal. You are made to feel as though nothing is too much trouble. This remains a delightful hotel, relaxing and peaceful. So very different to the norm.

This is not your normal hotel. At first glance it seems expensive. The rooms are fine but hardly luxurious. As you approach the house seems pretty but it is not a big manor house or a castle.. Yes, there is plenty of free parking and it is set amongst large gardens which run down to the sea.with great views but...

Had we known, we would have booked more than one night. Rob, Lawrence and Katie go out of their way to embrace and pamper you from the moment you arrive. Tea in the Blue Room with canapés before dinner, dinner was Isle of Mull lobster Thermidor with Mull cheddar glaze and in the morning was the real deal, full Scottish...

Down a spindly road, then down a muddy and bumpy dirt track, Tiroran House is remote, the choice of birders, hikers and otter spotters. In the evenings guests in their finest Barbour congregate in two pretty lounges to tell tall tales of close encounters with white-tailed eagles, hedgehogs and adders. They also talk of hair-raising experiences on Mull’s tricky roads....

This is a remote and peaceful hotel set in 62 acres of well nurtured gardens with a woodland path following a brook down to the shore. The owner and staff focus on ensuring that their guests have a relaxing time and want for nothing. We were in the Garden Room that is in the old laundry house. It is a...
