We've stayed many times over the years at this hotel while visiting the family, and can't fault it, great little hotel, lovely building, tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable all round. We stayed in November for a post wedding celebration, the room was fab the meal and table lovely, everyone had a great time. I have to say a special...

After 25 years of marriage we wanted somewhere classy, quiet and reasonably priced and this placed ticked all the boxes. Inside is clean and tidy and blends modern styles with old traditions. We chose the Christmas Fayre Menu which was £18.95 for 3 courses followed by coffee or tea. Children's meals were £5.50 for 2 courses. The food was excellent...

We stayed for one night and found the staff welcoming, the room very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. Our room was in the main hotel. It was very good value for money and we would certainly return.

I feel somewhat guilty for reviewing this hotel as average but I have to base it on our experience of being situated in a courtyard room, a small building which is not attached to the hotel itself. The room itself was very modern and functional but lacked basic soundproofing so the incessant road noise was almost unbearable. I was awoken...

Found this hotel by accident but was very please when I arrived. It felt very homely rather than just another hotel room. With an early start and a full day teaching I wasn't in the mood to head out and decided to try the hotel restaurant. The food was amazing, real cooked food not just a teenager pressing a few...

I stayed for one night on my way to Doncaster and although the room had everything you could ask for it was a bit on the small side. It was a very cold day and the heating was not working (my room was in the coach house out side the main building) so I spoke to reception and they switched...

We stayed here for one night so that we could attend a party nearby. We stayed in room 6. We arrived early, we were greeted warmly by a very friendly and helpful lady on reception. The room was clean, beautiful bed linen, nicely furnished and with large bathroom. After our party we stayed up for drinks in the comfortable bar....

Called at Heath Cottage Hotel today with the family (7 adults / 3 children) for their 3 course Sunday lunch menu - £15.95. The staff were really friendly, the food was fresh, home cooked a superbly presented. Portion sizes exceeded what you'd expect for the price you were paying. The whole group agreed it was probably one of the best...

I have just returned from a weekend away at this hotel as a party of 4. Absolutely fantastic hotel and would definitely recommend anybody who is visiting the area to stay here. I had discovered this hotel through Expedia as it was very reasonably priced and having looked at other trip advisor reviews that highly praised it I decided to...
