The food is excellent with a regularly changing menu - though some old favourites are still on it notably the Seafood Pancake starter and the Banana Brandysnap desert - it never disappoints us. The service has always been...

The words 'baked in the oven' takes us back a few decades to the first occasion we heard them from David and Clive, and they still have the power to thrill. The special hallmark of a Crossways meal is that the starters and puddings are verbally described rather than written. The resulting dish is always exquisite. A meal and night...

“There are only about 8 rooms and I've been in just about all of them over the years. They are all spacious bar one which is still adequate for a one or two night stay. The 'honeymoon suite' is very large and has an outside balcony which is lovely to use if you go in the warmer months. ”
