The weather was good. The Tin Church was available for the night. Given we made a last minute decision as a family with two kids (8&5) I'd have been happy with a bed for the night. The freshly baked bread, juice and milk in the fridge, and some good coffee made this exceptional. Photo is from the top of the...

Stayed Monday to Friday last week and what an amazing location. The accomodation was comfortable everything you need and basic groceries supplied to get you through until you do a shop. Roll on August when we visit again.

Happy to add to the list of 5* reviews for The Tin Church: this place is superb and the hosts, Paul and Margaret, are very welcoming. The setting is beautiful, surrounded by a mature garden and it is just down the road from one of the best viewpoints on the island. The whole place has everything you need and with...

This is a brilliant conversion, even better than we we had expected, creating accommodation we felt completely at home in with no feeling of it once being a church. It was the perfect property for our sketching trip. It had everything we could have asked for and all high standard, very well equipped comfortable and spacious kitchen, living room, bathroom,...

On a camping trip we arrived at the Isle of Seil without a place to stay. After driving past the Tin Church and noticing it was a B&B we decided to give it a shot. The owner opened the door but was reluctant about giving us a price until I seen the room. Well, once we entered the property we...

We spent a week at The Tin Church after deciding to not try and achieve the whole West of Scotland in the time we had available. What a brilliant decision; there is enough to explore on Seil and areas around alone, helped by the knowledge of Paul and Margaret. Oban is close by which opened up many more things and...

This is great! The redesign of the dilapidated church into an intriguing and imaginative home was recorded by architect and TV presenter George Clark some years ago. Paul and Margaret, who restored the building, run a terrific self-catering holiday apartment situated at the back of the church. It may be at the back, but its location on Seil is beautiful...

Was delighted to find that this holiday apartment matched previous reviews. The party was 2 adults, an 8 year old boy and the dog.The apartment was easy to keep clean, was roomy and cosy. There was plenty of information about the area and many maps to study. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. Paul and Margaret are...

We had a fantastic 5 days here at the Tin Church. It is the most beautiful location with wonderful views and excellent accomodation. It was lovely to have fresh homebaked bread everyday and fresh eggs from the resident hens. Paul and Margaret are fabulous hosts, and very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back very soon.

We had seen the Tin Church on a TV programme, and when we needed a short break this year we phoned, and got a last minute booking. Tin Church is a "Self Catering" B & B, but a lovely home baked loaf, butter and milk were provided to get us started. Oh, and don't forget the lovely wee decanter of...
