The SOHO hotel is quite upscale and has many artsy sculptures and wall designs similar to the famous SOHO village of Manhattan, New York. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The room was well equipped and included a refrigerator and electric pot for heating water. The bathroom also had good facilities and allowed us extra room to lay out our toiletries. Although their restaurant was not serving dinner, the breakfast buffet was very good and had plenty of food for us. Very good location, downtown Tak and about a block from the nightly market and river park.

Just a normal hotel, there are some "arty" touches but really, it's a basic hotel. No bedside tables, miserable shower, the tiniest piece of soap I have ever been provided with by a hotel, pillows on the bed uncomfortable. (Asian) breakfast was fine. But better get coffee from 7/11 around the corner!

We stayed at this hotel on the way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai to break the journey up. This hotel is comfortable and well maintained, the rooms are modern and more than enough for a single night stopover. Reception staff friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very basic but tea and toast were enough for us. Location of the hotel is near the centre of the town and plenty of restaurants within easy reach. I would recommend this hotel, the cost was very cheap.

We had a pleasant stay here. Corner room#314 was so quiet. Love it.
Price: reasonable
Bed: firm and comfy (I have a chronic back pain and the bed was so good. It was just about right for me.) The pillows were good too.
Car park: plenty of parking space
Breakfast: beyond expectation at this price
Bathroom: water pressure was good at the sink faucet but not quite good at the shower area because of the bottleneck at the water heater. Towels were new and clean.
wifi: free & fast
I uploaded 19 photos. Let the photos speak for themselves.

Arriving at 8pm in the evening in tak with no connection forward to mae sot, i called the hotel as it was close by to the station for me to go in the morning. They immediately sent a car to pick me up at the bus station. My orignal plan was to just to sleep and leave early in the morning but that changed once i saw the hotel and the room. I just wanted to spend more time and was in no hurry to leave. The staff and the owner is very accomodating and friendly. The hotel and the room is very clean and all the basic nessecities ( fast wifi, tv , hot water , basic bathroom amenities, coffe and tea complimentary in room, fridge , sink) for a single traveler are provided. The room itself is very spacious and t he hotel is well located. Just across the street there is a 7/11 where one can buy a few things. The hotel it self is very welcoming and modern. The staff are very friendly and even if they do not understand english much they really try hard to get you what you need or provide information where you can get the item. I will definitely stay here again if i am ever stuck or have to stay over in tak.

We stayed 1 night with our family because we have no time. The rooms look nice and modern (will not be 100%), we just know this hotel had renovation 2-3 months ago. The staff is very friendly, a great cleanliness in overall and especially breakfast very good.
I think this hotel is worth the money we paid. Please keep this standards of cleanliness and more. We will be back again soon.

Room # 207 - 1 x night stya via Agoda

Came here last year..... back again :)

Rooms seemed noisier this time around...

Much dragging of chairs or furniture around on the floors above and beside us!!!

Walls now seem paper thin - hear someone weeing next door.

Breakfast was good, although this time not my fave choice of Thai foods... Just lick on the day.

Would stay here again if passing thru Tak Province.

The hotel is located not too far from the river and in the city makes easy to visit around. For my room 201 a bit needs to clean up after touch up. Breakfast is nice locally dishes adding with international some. Staff hospitality is welcomed and useful enough on your information request. Mostly happy during been 3 nights stayed.

Short friends holiday trip to Chiang Mai.
We were travelling from Khorat and could have done the trip in one day, but thought we would take our time and relax on the trip. So, decided to stop in Tak.
Great wee place, looked at one hotel overlooking the Ping river, but at 1,500 baht a night, didn't think it was worth that. So quick google search and SoHo Boutique Hotel, looked good.
Yes, it was. Nice quiet area, not far to river and lots of choices of food. Bed was comfortable, only down side was a slightly underpowered shower. But would stay again.
Oh, no assistant to help with luggage but do have trolleys to load luggage onto.

But, worth considering on your travels
