Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The river view from the restaurant is really nice, calming and quiet.

The bungalow is spacious, clean, large open plan room, the experience would improve with extras like coffee/tea in the room (have cups but no kettle), no shampoo in the shower and a more modern feeling in the room would make a difference.

Breakfast is free - just bread for toasting, porridge and hot water/coffee - make your self.

Restaurant dinner and lunch is nice, pricey (200-250 THB for small plates to share, 2 people need 3 or 4). Glass noodles with prawn was good. WiFi worked fine, ice is 25thb. Very dog friendly.

Location is outside of the city, quiet, ample parking, free bicycle, nice to walk around.

We were traveling with our dog from the UK and stopped at this hotel on route to Chiang mai. The Villa was good for the price, comfortable with food AirCon. Breakfast was limited for a brit but hey, what do I expect for the money.

The report was obviously quiet during covid and because so, limited staff for upkeep of the grounds that looked like it had been flooded very recently..

I’d definitely go again on my trips.. I hope other people use this so it keeps its head above water (excuse the pun)

Disappointing. Beautiful waterfront property with lots of staff grooming and trimming neat gardens. King room was just big - a thimble of shampoo, no kettle or coffee, aircon with only 1 speed.. 'Charged a nearly 25% premium for a 1.2 kg elderly dog who can't even bark!
"Breakfast" was a bowl of 3 in one coffee packets and a cold pot of congee - no staff in sight. Considering there were only 2 guests, it might have behooved management to take care of them.

Had larger room. No direct view of river from room. Evenings entire resort is suffering from loud noise of nearby restaurant on the premises. Restaurant not impressive. River view at restaurant ok. I don’t have more to say but TripAdvisor’s forces me to post 200 words.

Booked two rooms, one large one with river view, and one smaller with garden view and balcony. The larger room was large. Unfortunately it only had a queen bed, a little desk, and one chair. The rest was a large open void. The room would have been perfect with a sofa, sitting room area. But alas just large empty floor space. The garden view room was nice, but had to climb steep stairs to the roof balcony. Overall a better value. The dinner was at the restaurant was good, and at a good price.

We have been here whilst travelling as backpackers through Thailand. Even tough most of the staff didn't speak very well english (what I don't expect in a remote place like this - rather should we have been able to speak Thai but it is just so difficult to lern!) everybody tried to help us as best as they could. And with the help of translating apps it worked out quite well. The staff ordered taxis and tuk tuks for us and also helped us organizing our trips. The food in the restaurant is good even tough little expensive and the accomodation was really nice for the price we paid. I would give this place a visit again everytime I come across Tak!
