For a taste of the real Tuscany, a 360 view from hills top to the Chianti wineries and olive groves. Located in a old rural hill top village, surrounded by the tenuta, and at just 10 minutes driving from both Casole d'Elsa and Colle val d'Elsa. The Roncuccis, Carla, Viola, Filomena and the cook Nadia will give you a warm... More

We booked this agro farm as a family and it was a perfect setting looking out over the Tuscan countryside. Carla was most helpful and showed us two room options. The meal at the farm was typical Tuscan and very nice. The pool was a delight (although we could have had a few more loungers) as we were often the... More

A great place to stay for 7 days and explore the Tuscan hill towns. Right in the middle of it all without all the tourist stuff. We found the staff amazing and very engaging! Restaurant could be improved, but there are plenty of other places to eat.

We chose Tenuta di Mensanello because we wanted to holiday on a working vineyard/winery in Tuscany. Arriving late, we were pleased to find Carla waiting for us at the gate. After settling us into our two-bedroom villa, she called ahead to the on-site restaurant and arranged a family style meal of five hearty courses, complemented with Mensanello wine. The villa,... Upon arrival, I was greeted by the hostess with mostess, Ms. Carla, who keeps the grounds and helped us in every way imaginable, going over and beyond with regards to the hotel, the local area, and help with transportation. The hotel is a peaceful place overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards, well kept, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and a nice... More

Mensanello is the place to be if you want to be in the heart of Tuscany driving distance to Florence, Siena, even the coast (1 ½ hours). Carla was very helpful with many things, she even arrange for us to use a fan as the Tuscan heat was at times a bit much for us! I am not sure where... More

We have just come back from a perfect Holiday with perfect weather. The family apartment was spacious with two shower/bathrooms and some where to sit out in the evenings. The location is remote enough to feel part of the real Tuscany but central to most tourist spots and only a few Km from the nearest good restaurants. As a reasonably... More

Sorry to steal the name of a movie, but it was a description of the holiday that seemed apt. My extended family stayed at Tenuta di Mensanello in July in two large apartments. The accommodation is very good and very clean. It is unfortunate that there were no balconies that were located in a perfect position to view the countryside,... More

We stayed here for 3 nights to use as a base exploring the nearby hill-top Tuscan towns. It was a great way of experiencing the agricultural, and cultural delights on offer here. Carla was very friendly and welcoming and the whole place had a community-like rustic feel in just these short 3 days. The accommodation was lovely, with very modern... More

Stayed there for three nights. Everything went great. Signora Carla is the perfect host very friendly and approachable as well as the rest of the staff. The "agriturismo" in in the middle of Siena province making it handy to reach the characteristic medieval towns in the area (Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle Val d'Elsa). Great breakfast buffet with local produce... More
