Possibly one of the top five tourist campgrounds I have ever stayed in Australia and New Zealand. Every facility is provided and well laid out in the park. Everything is impeccably clean. Beautiful beach and restaurant within easy walking distance. Could not get much better place to stay!!

Yet another great family holiday at Camp Waipu Cove. A nice peaceful place to stay right on the beach, and just over the hill from Langs Beach. Friendly staff and great facilities. See you again soon!

I stayed 2 nights in a self-contained camper (actually it was my first 2 nights in the van) and I found Camp Waipu Cove a really great place to start! The facilities were really clean and there were plenty of them. Kitchen with multiple stove-tops, microwaves, toasters, kettles, an oven and bbqs. The ablution block was also really clean and... Waipu Cove is a fantastic beach and the camp ground tops it off. We use it as a get away from busy Auckland, 40 mins from home. We use the self contained cabins, top notch, very warm and dry, clean and the best part minute work to the beach. Fantastic COVE cafe across the road. We have been visiting here... More

Really lovely spot with a nice cafe/bar straight across the road. The playground was a huge hit with our almost 2 year old, would've appreciated being close to the playground rather than tucked around the back in the shaded cabin (number 5). Comfortable bed & large cabin.

Awesome spot - had a brilliant birthday weekend away with friends in our caravans at this great camp. Facilities were clean and tidy and staff pleasant. Will definitely be back during the warmer weather - nice and central for Mangawhai ( Bennetts Chocolates and the Chicken, Lime & Lemongrass sausages from The Meat Shop !! ) and the legendary McLeods... Great campsite, friendly staff and great amenities. Went caravanning for a weekend, having previously been in summer. Typical wet spring weekend but the location is still great even if the weather was not so good. Amazing to be right beside the beach and have a lovely walk in between the showers. Will look forward to summer coming.

Stayed just one night in a cabin. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Bed would rate up there with any good hotel beds. Great kitchen, applicants and bathroom. Loo in room for added comfort. Would of stayed longer but were booked out. I see why. Will be back.
