We stayed for 1 night and found the place a bit wanting. It was inexpensive and people were friendly. It was just a bit run down and could use a bit of a face lift. Rugby field right behind it, which was OK as we scooted over there to watch a local game.

Went here to listen to a blues guy. He was good. Beer is ok but limited .. Same with the wine. I normally drink red wine... I drank beer this night ... wonder why? Place is up.for sale... looks like a whole remodeling effort is needed. All in all ..the food IS good ... not too bad a place.

Located just off the main street in Waipu behind the pizza restaurant. For $8 dollars we enjoyed a juicy burger and fries. They offer a full bar with indoor and outside seating. Sunday after 5:30pm they have pork loin roast and vegetables.

I thought this was very good value for the $30 I paid... A twin room (to myself), with a very comfortable bed, complimentary towels, TV, use of kitchenette for breakfast with complimentary breakfast, tea/coffee, milk, fruit, biscuits. It also had a lounge with a massage chair and the bathroom had a bath. Also as I stayed the Sunday night I...

Before check-in, the lady showed me around to make sure I was happy with the accommodation, which I thought was very thoughtful. I stayed for one night in the single room which had its own TV, closet, desk and chair. My room smelt a bit funny, but it didn't bother me really. There are separate toilets, showers and baths for...
