The rooms were big and there was a nice garden you could relax in. But the best part was the staff. They were so friendly and helpfull, and they made our stay fantastic. So I can definitely recommend Rasdhoo dive lodge.

This guys are the best!! I did scuba diving twice with them and also stayed in his lodge. They made my scuba diving the best experience ever, making me laugh even under the water 😂, I definitely would recommend this center and lodge, 100%. They hay in the lodge also are super attentive and caring !

Did a dive certification and stayed at the lodge for 3 days. The staff are really friendly and the place was really clean. Walking distance from the bikini beach as well. Imran, the manager was very responsive (both on emails and also when we were there). Arif, the chef usually alternated between Maldivian, Indian and Chinese cuisine. There are multiple other restaurants at Rasdhoo including Lemon Drop, Coffee Ole which also serve good food. The Dive centre is the oldest at Rasdhoo and we trained under Rotz and Hysal. The Dive at Madivaru Beyru was the best and we saw sharks, angel rays, moray eels. Definitely a recommended place for value for money accommodation. Suggestion: Bath soap, shower gel could also be stocked at the rooms.

I am slightly baffled by the very many excellent reviews that this guest house gets, and after speaking to other guests, I am certainly not alone in this. Let me begin by saying that the staff of the lodge are generally very nice, as are the staff of the restaurant. Also, the accommodation was very reasonably priced. However, the reviews created expectations which were not quite met. My room was ok, but as the only window faced the pathway to the restaurant, I had to keep the curtains drawn, which made it dark and uninviting. It also seemed as if the room was not often aired, as there was a strong smell of moth balls and mildew. The fridge also had an unpleasant odor, as did the drain in the shower. Some maintenance issues cropped up during the first day - at first there was no water in the bathroom, and then the water did not heat up. However, both issues were fixed immediately. The room was clean, but the seating area outside was not maintained. A dirty ashtray which I noticed the first day was still there when I left two days later. Although I did not visit Rasdhoo specifically for diving, I did two dives with the dive centre. It was well organised and especially the night dive was a great experience. I did however feel that the dive staff were not very friendly initially and that communication could have been better. Rasdhoo is a good island to visit if you are planning to dive, but in my opinion it is not the prettiest local island in this region. It is very built up, the bikini beach is tiny and unfortunately there is a bit of an issue with garbage all over the island. Me and my boyfriend loved to stay at divers lodge! It was clean, nice and the staff was really helpful and good. They arranged a lot of activities for us, diving, snorkling, jet ski, night fishing and visit to the beautiful sandbank. The staff helped us with everything and were chatty and friendly. The food at the restaurant was really nice as well. The cook especially. This was a great visit and we will deffinetly come back :)

It was gorgeous: extremely friendly staff, high quality diving trips, pleasant diving society, good price performance ratio; to put it in a nutshell: our three girls were happy! Of course, it is a residents island and we did not bother about alkohol ban, a kind of compensation was for me the Tennheiser malt beer from the local shops. We, as non-Muslims, did not complain about the voice of the Muezzin, especially in the very morning, and that is how we integrated it as necessary part of the local live during our stay. We often used the bikini beach for schnorcheling and leisure time. In the shallow water the coral bleeching is present. At the border of the house reef, we identified more and more intact corals. The noise of the close power generator is constant and rather week. Rarely, if the wind was not coming from west, we sometimes did smell nasty smoke emissions from the island. We spent a week at the dive lodge and had a brilliant time: 1. Accomodation wise, rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The setting is beautiful with big outdoor area and restaurant, including chairs and sofas to relax. 2. 3-5min walk to the beach, which is beautiful with a lagoon and a house reef, so you can snorkel with rays and sharks even without diving. 3. For divers it is optimal. The dive center of the lodge does up to 5 dives a day, equipment is top notch, amazing dive sites just some boat minutes away...we ended up doing so many more dives than originally intended, and my GF even did her AOW certificate, just because it was so much fun. 4. Everyone is super nice, made us feel welcome, had a professional attitude, and always ready to help. Really everyone, from the room keepers to restaurant staff to all the ppl working in or out of the water for the dive center. Special kudos to Rotx and Aseel, for all the fun and guidance during the dives, and to the whole boat crew. We really hope we can come back some day!…

Amazing staff. Huge rooms with AC, television, fridge, wifi, etc. Was visiting with my girlfriend and they had decorated the room very nice with flowers at our arrival. Very helpful staff who carried our bags and brought us water with a smile all the time. Do visit!

We spend 8 nights in Rashdoo Dive Lodge with 2 kids. Before reservation I got useful information via email, so I felt good already before departure. Everything worked out well and as planned. We could work out our diving timetable and excursions that suited for our family. Everyone, in restaurant, lodge and dive center, were very hospital and friendly, always smiling. Diving was very well organized and professional. Only minus is that we missed hammerheads 😂. Thank you everyone!

We came to Rasdhoo Dive lodge with our 5 kids (11-22 years) to enjoy our 2018 Christmas holidays. And we loved it! 9 days of joy with snorkeling, water sports, relaxing at the beach and meeting incredibly nice people. To quote our youngest: "This was our best holidays ever!" Irey, Imran and the whole Dive lodge team really tried to make every day perfect for us. All was taken care of, clean rooms, good and lots of nice food, really nice service and great tours to the sandbank, neighbor island, night fishing and many marvelous snorkeling sites. Previously we have been on a beautiful Maldive resort island, but this trip was much better. Rasdhoo is authentic Maldives and we got dear friends there, who we will do our best to come and visit again.
