Cherrapunjee Holiday Resort is a very cosy setup close to one of the many living root bridges in Cherrapunjee. The staff mainly comprises of young ladies from the neighborhood. They are extremely well mannered and courteous and offer homely food. It cannot be called a resort per se, it is more like a homestay where the individual rooms are all...

Resort is about 15 kms (30 minutes drive) away from the cherrapunje centre, this helps starting early for the living root bridge treks (3KM away). The drive goes through a hilly region to reach a plateau where this resort is located. From the resort you can see great sunrise and sunsets as well as settlements on the bangladesh side across...

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights and i would say that calling this a resort is an overstatement. Its a very good place to stay though. Service is excellent, location is fantastic, food is above average. On the backside of the resort, you can see the plains of Bangladesh and on the front the valleys and waterfalls of...

We stayed there for three nights with grown-up children. With family package. This is about 18 km from Cherrapunjee village. Perfect base to visit all tourist attractions , double decker live root bridge , Koh Ramayah ( inverse cone ) , mawsmi caves , other living roots bridge , Arwah caves, waterfalls , treks. Better than staying at Cherrapunjee village...

At the end of 3 days stay I concluded that it is a lot of hard work to run a resort at such a remote location. The rooms were average. The bathrooms were big and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffet food was very tasty and had a good variety of dishes. It was more like excellent home food rather...

We loved the hotel because of great service, good food and a nice location. The food is delicious with a good quantity. The breakfast is very generous in quantity and quality. The living root bridges close by are phenomenal. A rigorous but great hike. All in all a good experience.

Do not be swayed by the pictures the management has put up. They speak nothing about the basic accommodation available here. The rooms are over-priced, with minimal facilities to offer. The "Executive Rooms'' lacks something as basic as a TV, considering the four and a half grand a night rate levied. there is no value for money aspect here. Choose...

The resort is in a beautiful location on a mountain ridge. It is isolated - about 12km/7.5mi from Cherrapunjee - but it is the closest place (except for homestays in the Laitkynsew village) to the double-decker living root bridge which is within walking distance. A vegetarian breakfast and dinner are included. While not a true buffet (they serve some of...
