I was to Filoxenia Hotel. Everything is much more expensive than the other hotels. The food is very repetitive and always cook the same things. The internet connection is good only with the half empty hotel as soon as the weekend comes the connection is very slow. Only positive note the service and location. Waiters and receptionists are the pride...

This is a family hotel mostly. Great location, just past the busy beaches of Kalamata. Private pebble beach (not ideal for kids, who will choose the pool anyway). Staff: helpful and polite. Entertainment team is foreign, maybe for cost reasons, still this gives non-greek-speaking kids a chance. The kids' club is excellent and Phaedra who is in charge exceptional. Cuisine:...

An not-so-old star is slowly fading. The room needed new bed with mattress not made of something felt like concrete. The cleaning was below average. The food was just average - price considered. But the beach is wonderful. and the location is nice....

Visited Filoxenia mid July for 4 days for a short break! Great escape at a hotel on a unique location right on the beach. Tasty food, helpful staff and nice service! Totally recommended when needed to escape from everyday routine!

Great location, on the beach, which is not private. Upgraded facilities from last year, but still needs improvement. Food is good, not as good as last year. Very noisy this year from the pool area, rooms do not have good sound proofing, very difficult to relax. The greatest advantage is the polite, courteous and fantastic staff, which are under staffed...

Private clean beach, cozy rooms, spacey lobby, delicious breakfast, lovely pool!! Everything from Alpha to Omega was on a highest level! Kids eat for free all day long. Minutes away from a nice restaurant. My entire family was truly impressed with the hospitality.

We have visited this hotel some years ago and it has been extensively enlarged and improved. Staff were extremely attentive and kind and we enjoyed a quick stop-over en route to Athens from Korone. The restaurant was very good although we only had a light meal. The room was very good, cool, not too exposed to the sun and with...

Great location, build for family vacation but... The personnel is not enough to cater and support the massive number of residents. They are extremely polite and responsive but it's just impossible to tackle the guest requests or keep things in order. They are understaffed, period. A few examples, A. in breakfast you have to wait for : items that run...
