We went here for a romantic getaway. Dinner was very FINE! Nine course meal (more like 11) with gratuity included! The server was perfectly bilingual in both French and English, extremely professional, good pacing without being intrusive. There was only one other couple in the dining room. I'm still raving about this meal; very very good. Breakfast was nothing special...

Stayed there for a business trip only once but will definitely go there again. Excellent hotel with wonderful view of the bay. Hotel restaurant is a culinary adventure. Hotel staff is nice and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and well kept.

La Baie is not the most beautiful of towns - we stopped there en route to Tadoussac - but this hotel is situated in a nice part of it, on the waterfront which has recently been landscaped and renovated. You can stroll from the hotel along it and watch the going ons in the harbour and cruise ships when they...

My wife and I stayed here 2 nights while visiting the Saguenay area. The room was quite spacious, comfortable and quiet. We were here after the labour day weekend so it was pretty empty and parking was a non issue. As others have noted, it's well located with plenty of walking or bike paths. We actually enjoyed seeing a large...

In general, this is a very nice place to stay. Our room was large, well maintained, clean, and comfortable with a nice bath and a fire place. The staff was friendly. and conscientious. However, there were negatives. Their reservation process is antiquated and difficult to navigate. You cannot reserve a room directly over the internet, and dealing with the hotel...

The hotel is on the lake shore and is very quiet. The service is very friendly but the rooms could use a slight furniture upgrade, not that they are in bad shape, but they are just a bit outdated for a hotel of that category. We had the breakfast buffet and it was excellent. Lots of fresh food and once...

Excellent hotel with wonderful view of the bay. Hotel restaurant is a culinary adventure...don't miss it. Slow, relaxed full evening of one great taste after another. The waiter was excellent and moved the meal along perfectly. My french isn't great but it was no problem. Hotel staff is nice and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and well kept. Formidable. I'm only giving 4 out of 5, but don't get me wrong, I'd be back like a shot if I could. In reverse order, what's not great about the hotel? The rooms, pure and simple. They are, like others have said, dated. They are not dirty, they are not threadbare, but they are showing their age. The bed I had...

Small Hotel extremely well situated. It is on the water in LaBaie. As a bonus, it is one of the best table in the Saguenay region. Ice fishing season is starting this weekend. Also if you like skiing, Mont Belu is right across the bay.

My stay was three nights total. It's cozy, clean, and close to restaurants. The view is beautiful. Being November, it's a little frigid outside. What is exceptional is the customer service. The evening receptionist was very helpful. She even went out of her way to get me help for a serious migraine headache. The wait staff worked around my numerous...
