This village offers many leisure opportunities, from golf, sauna, summer and winter sports. The complex is surrounded by manicured lawns and overlooks a lake. We stayed only one night, passing through. Overall it was a pleasant and quiet stay, although the structure is very spartan and basic, as well as breakfast. Given these characteristics, the price charged seemed rather exaggerated.

The hotel rooms are nice. We had a balcony also. The corridors need to be renovated but as long as you do not expect luxus, you are fine. A lot of activities are available. And good food. Lot's of it. Not gourmet but home-cooked-style fresh food.

We came here for 3 day skiing holiday with grandma and 4 children of age 2-10. We had been here previous year as well and came back because of various reasons: good service, reasonable prices, spacious rooms available, lots of snow comparing to south coast, shorter distance to access comparing Lapland, skiing tracks that meet our needs, bouldering room in sports hall nearby etc. Rooms in main building are hotel standard really. Bathrooms had just been renovated to mery high standards. This place is ideal for people who enjoy staying in a quiet place and don't mind children. There were young people from 3 european countries during our stay which was really nice!

Hyvärilä is a really nice, sympathetic place. Good home-made food, and a friendly staff. Good possibilities for cross-country skiing, walking in the woods, etc. Excellent with small children. Not for action- seeking people, but rather for families or people looking for peace and quiet...

Quiet, out of the way, middle of nothing, but lot of to do like colfing, sauna and swimming, cycling, playing different games both inside and outside, track for walking and running, some kind freestyle waterski jumpping, kanooing and so on. Main house was very old and rooms are small, I see few rooms where had two beds and sleeping garret. I had room with bedroom, garret and livingroom. There was difficult thresholds for wheelchair, but they also tell that they plan to do it free next year. There was also Laplander´s grill hut and old cowshed where they had gymnasium.
