* Best staff * little pricey but worth it * dinner and breakfast is included. They do cater your dietary requirements. * husky sledding is highly recommended in a day time. Will cost you close to $220 aud per person. *Reindeer safari is pretty cool experience and it's cheaper than husky sledding. There is no comparison here. I personally enjoyed Reindeer...

We spent six nights in this wonderful and wild place. 2 in crystal igloo and 4 in a house with sauna and fireplace. Environment is great, quite and paceful. You may not expect all comfort coming from the word "resort" but you should be able to like the way it is managed. Almost all is in your own. Staff is...

Greeted by young very friendly well English spoken staff. We stayed first in the west village in a glass igloo which was actually comfortable. Only negative point was the neighboring guests left their lights on so that the northern lights laying in bed was difficult to see, also they congregated extremely loudly outside still leaving the lights on into the...

We stayed in a small glass igloo because of wanting an life experience, but lucky just booked for one night, after watching the wonderful advertisement by the company's successful marketing strategy. While it is a small glass igloo with a luxury room style, it offered a very basic budget amenities: 2 single beds and a small toilet. To put it...

We loved this place. Service above reproach. Dinner here was fun. Breakfast acceptable. There is a sleigh to push your bags yourself. No complaints. We stayed at the Kelo glass igloo cabin no.35_ complete with a double bed inside the cabin facing another set of twin beds in the attached igloo. At tge side of the huge cabin is an...

I think this place has one of the most beautiful Igloo log house and Resorts. Each unit is spacious enough to hold 4 -6 people complete with Sauna and kitchen amenities. They offer other activities such as Husky and reindeer rides, snowmobile and the rest just like all other resorts. The place is beautiful and romantic, its built in the...

Management won't read this review, because they do not care. Lapland is magical and on the surface Kakslauttanen is a really special way to visit the region, but as amazing as it is - I don't think I've ever left somewhere quite so underwhelmed/disappointed. (NB: not including my joy at getting engaged [not on site!]) Kakslauttanen has 1 exceptional USP...

#stillcantmoveon. From the picturesque arrival at Ivalo Airport, we were so thrilled to spend our week in Saariselkä. Since we only started to plan for our trip in early January, unfortunately we were only able to stay at the glass igloo for 1 night, where the remaining were spent at the Holiday Club Saariselkä. We were transferred from the airport...
