Fantastic accommodation and food albeit very expensive. Lovely location with a number of trees. However, the reason we came is for the auroras and it was cloudy for 3 days. Came clear during the last few hours but no aurora activity (that’s mature)
Our terrible experience at this resort began from the moment we arrived. Upon entering the reception, we asked for a transport from the west village to the east village. A completely disorganised system of managing their own transports meant that it took about 45 minutes...More

This place was a complete and utter let down.
When we arrived, we arranged a transport to take us to the West Village (the bus arrives at East Village). After waiting 30 minutes, the transport finally arrives.

So, full disclosure: we were extremely lucky, and saw the Northern Lights the very first night in our glass igloo. We were there 4 nights, and that was the only night we saw them. It's just not a guarantee.
