My husband and I have always wanted to see the Northern Lights. We picked Kakslautannen Artic Resort after attending a road show they held in Singapore and we are so happy we made the right choice. Flying into Ivalo via Helsinki, we were picked up and whisked to the Resort

You must be probably Finnish to afford this and not to get bored to death. For the price of Four Season suite you get here an igloo (well nice looking igloo, but still...). I could live without the shower or any storage area not having another dozens of igloos in vicinity of

Dear Guest, thanks for your review. We understand your disappointment for not seeing the Aurora, still we have lots of positive comments about our activities and the quality of our services. We clearly status that we do not promise northern lights, but we offer the opportunity and the fun of hunting them. Our prices for activities are on average the same of other companies we believe that customers can choose and we do not force our clients to join the activities. Best regards

There are numerous ways to experience the resort, so I will begin with how we did it. My wife and I visited to celebrate a big anniversary, and thus spent more than we would on a normal holiday. We stayed in the Kelo-Igloo for three nights and tried several activities. We had

Hi! You will have so much fun! I would do the husky’s am because then you can use a go pro or video your ride, and visit the dogs in daylight also you might get to hold a puppy! You get suited up for the ride. Not sure how you are going Aurora hunting by quad bikes? Anyway be prepared to be suited up again. Remember it gets dark around 2.00pm, also pray it doesn’t snow at night, clear sky equals Aurora! We got up in the early hours of the morning 3am as soon as we saw the stars out and were very lucky to see it low on the horizon 2 nights in a row. Great photos! You can sleep anytime! Get an Aurora Ap so this will tell you when it’s strong enough to see or wake up call. Enjoy those gorgeous dogs! Have a fabulous time in that magical place!

Yes absolutely! They are normally in a small car that hangs to the guide's snowmobile and the parents are on their own snowmobile behind. Husky and reindeer sleigh no issues.. kids all age can go on it

I went in December, but I booked it three weeks ago, you should do the same, if you're going with three people than I advise you to book Kelo-glass Igloo

"Disappointed !!!"
"West village has more amenities, ask for luxury glass igloo otherwise you have to walk to shower which is in separate building"
"Keto rooms have sauna and the igloo attached , don't depend on the in house Aurora Alarm"
"We had Kelo-Glass Igloo 72, great location for watching the northern lights."
"If you like more privacy and peace opt for the East Village. If you want a little more entertainment then go for the West village."
