I had private pool villa, it’s so natural that you can find bird drinking water from lotus pond in the afternoon. Even you were relaxing on sun bed next to the pool, you can hear those birds tweeting in the morning if your bedroom was opened. There will be no worries about mosquitoes if your bedroom was always closed. And they also provide the mosquito repellent in the closet. All staffs are very great. They always Wai and Sawasdee you all day and all the time. Khun Mar from front-office has very outstanding service, she always cleans her desk before welcoming next guest, which is very nice during this time due to COVID-19 situation. The bellboy (forgot his name) was very nice, he can advise me how to get a bike and ride along the entire resort area. And he recommended a local food restaurant next to the resort for me in the evening. The breakfast was very delicious. Luna La Pran’s staff took very good care of me. They provide me the fan and mosquitoes spray. I will definitely back there soon. Thank you for make the wonderful trip

I would like to say, this is one of my lifetime favourite property in my entire lifetime. First of all, there are so many people that I would like to show my gratitude and so much to thanks to for my stay. Front office, P'Ma N'KayKay N'Pick and N'Belle, since the day 1 that I stayed here 5-6 years ago. You gals are superb and very attention to details. Love you loads. FB Team, P'Nuntana, she is more than what I could ever ask for for all my appetite needs! P'Arm, P'Pick, P'Tum and special thanks to N'Kaew N'Aum N'Tong N'Champ! You guys are superb! Also the Housekeeping team P'Su and P'Boy! They always there when I need something. Also to Bellboy Team! P'Joe and P'Mai, ypu guys always therr through my needs. SO many thanks for all the fantastics people there. I definitely looking foreward to see you again in no time.

My wife & I have stayed at Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas (‘SPV’) numerous times & at different times of the year, since it became a Sheraton managed property. What we value most about this resort:- **A tranquil, secluded, well-tended to, & quiet physical setting (despite being across the road from the public beach promenade). **A smaller-scale, all-villas resort with an understated, welcoming, pleasant, Thai ‘sabai-sabai’ vibe, far away from the hustle & bustle in Hua Hin—SPV staff, too, reinforce this vibe in a good way, through their own guest service attitude & attention. **Resort’s amenities, while basic, are sufficient—emphasis being the comforts & privacy of the villas rather than the property’s public spaces & features. SPV has always delivered & seldom disappoints us on these qualities (though mid-stay, because of provincial government’s Covid mandate, SPV management had no choice but to curtail operations of nearly all its public facilities). After sharing feedback about a decidedly mediocre 6-night stay at SPV over the last New Year holiday, as a progress update, we were pleased that this 7-night stay during the busy Songkran holiday was a laudable improvement overall—particularly those areas where I’d shared some views about operational lapses (e.g., daily housekeeping & evening turn-down, Covid safety protocol, breakfast experience). Therefore, I offer this lengthy missive about our most recent & impressive visit. My wife & I had a thoroughly relaxing & satisfying stay, experiencing a top-notch service level, that has reinforced our reasons for returning again to SPV. We highly commend & greatly appreciate the gracious guest relations service provided by the resort’s Duty Manager, Khun KK—once more, we were thoroughly delighted by KK’s pro-action & professional courtesy. SPV’s brand, indeed, is better off for having superb guest-facing ambassadors like Khun KK. Let me focus on & balance some personal observations to areas that from my extensive Thailand travel experiences, prove especially challenging or frenetic during the Thai high season travel periods (consequently, we prefer to & usually ‘escape’ from TH for Songkran holiday). **Housekeeping. IMO this operational area noticeably improved to a higher standard from my New Year visit (during that previous stay, the service standard was inconsistent, sloppy & at times less than satisfactory overall). My wife was highly appreciative that our villa’s housekeeping staff had an eye for detail & were forethoughtful to anticipate what might make her stay that much more comfortable. So, our kudos to them. As for me, unlike my New Year stay, I didn’t notice much of anything about the daily housekeeping & nightly turn-down routine—in my own mind, when there’s nothing that stands out in a less than good way, that’s a desired & very positive outcome, & a sign that all’s well with the service. That being said, we continue to believe that for housekeeping in general, there are aspects that IMO a guest should never need to point out after checking-in & seemingly would/should be discovered by housekeeping quality-checks before guest arrival. Though eventually rectified, it was annoying to need to report that the bedroom a/c unit was sub-functional (only fixed after a 2nd follow-up request 3 hours later), the telephone handset was inoperable (as it was 3 months earlier in this same villa), & the downstairs bathroom was without any hand towels (a personal peeve reported before). As a Marriott Lifetime Titanium Elite loyalty member, admittedly I’m a critical, jaded traveler. Other guests or SPV staff might think it’s unrealistic or unreasonable, but I believe a guest’s basic expectation is that on entering an assigned villa at SPV, everything works fine & all has been replenished or repaired as need be—as the guest, I really don’t wish to be bothered needing to report housekeeping or maintenance deficiencies. **Breakfast service. Comparing the Songkran & New Year periods, SPV’s breakfast buffet service vastly improved & was superior overall to last year end. This Songkran period the entire country was facing a new surge of Covid infections. I freely admit that the Covid situation causes me anxiety (though not enough to curtail discretionary travel). A pertinent observation was that for its dining area & service, SPV instituted more rigorous, consistently applied Covid risk practices than before (e.g., disposable gloves, selectively reconfigured food service area & methods, thermo scan equipment), which added to our personal peace of mind. Gratefully, too, guests at this time appeared more socially responsible in their personal adherence to the now customary Covid prevention etiquette. Also, unlike the last holiday time, our impression was that SPV breakfast time staffing was increased to levels generally sufficient to ensure attentive & responsive service—a standard we’d come to mark highly from past stays. For the most part, the line cooks seemed quite diligent about ensuring a complete & plentiful assortment of F&B offerings—though there were (inexplicable) non replenished stock-outs of certain menu items despite the breakfast period having over one hour remaining. Incidentally, the younger line cooks, especially at the outdoor cooking station, did come across at times as (rudely) oblivious to guests who quite clearly were awaiting their attention. An aside, we had prudent hesitation eating anything from the hot food buffet line—from my own related professional experience, IMO it frequently seemed (i.e., physical sensation) that a number of the hot food items on the line were maintained below US FDA recommended, minimum safe 140F holding temperature. My own sensory faculty, of course, might have been mistaken about the actual serving temperature. The breakfast menu offering IMO remains quite ordinary & limited—not nearly as varied as at the many 5-star resorts in Hua Hin (albeit those are big properties with many more guest rooms). Nonetheless, the food & pastry items are tasty & well made, using quality ingredients. A worthy shout-out, my wife & I were especially impressed with the thoughtful & diligent dining service provided by Khun Indira—she has a highly professional attitude & consistently delivered attentive, superior guest service. ##### To wrap-up, beyond offering platitudes, it seems to me SPV management was sincere in taking corrective action for certain areas for improvement they had been made more aware of previously. We recognized & applaud the positive steps taken & apparent operational changes made by SPV management since our visit 3+ months ago. This latest stay, we felt that SPV returned to a higher standard that we’d come to expect from the past, & ensures that we’ll return yet again. Moreover, we’re anticipating that SPV management will continue to raise its guest service delivery level. We don’t hesitate in recommending SPV to others as a pleasant, praiseworthy, quality resort destination, for their own visit to the Pranburi area. Our sincere thanks to the SPV team for its part in making for an enjoyable, carefree Songkran holiday visit.

Ok. The positives. Very nice villas and pool. Well manicured grounds. Lovely, late nice romantic moonlight swim. The negatives. Sadly many. Far from Hua Hin (30minutes) so you are either going to drive a lot or stay and spend a lot. Beach is off property, across a busy street, to a narrow, treeless strip of sand. Meh. Villas have good A/C but you need to stay inside cause it was HOT. You really could only use the pool after dark. The cabana was nice, but needed to use the mosquito netting. Just hard to relax when worried about getting bitten. Was given a nice 2br upgrade. But a bit bizarre. There is an outdoor bathtub. With two couples (glass villas a bit close for comfort) or a family that would be beyond bizarre. At check-in you sit in a covered area but bake in the heat. They have several other nearby enclosed rooms with A/C, why not use one of those. Sitting, sweating profusely isn’t a great way to start. Many families with noisy kids were there. Also a nearby construction site with sounds starting each morning. Frankly there are many better options in and near Hua Hin. It was nice to try but not for us.

We are delighted to hear that you appreciated how nice our villas, pool and grounds are. As for your other points, we would suggest that the resort gives guests the best of both worlds in terms of its peaceful, unspoiled location, still with good proximity to the “bright lights” of Pranburi town. Our location, beach-side but separate from the public beach, safeguards the exclusivity of the guest experience. Being in the tropics, we do everything we can to protect our guests from insects, including regular spraying and provision protective precautions. It is rare that a guest will get bitten by anything while on site. However, we do urge guests to make use of the protective equipment provided. Our bathroom arrangements are designed to be flexible. They can be adjusted for complete privacy or opened more to the elements, so that one can have the pleasure of communing with nature while bathing, always without being overlooked by the occupants of any neighboring villas. When guests check in, we combine the formalities with refreshments and other comforts, including choosing a cool spot, so the experience you had in that respect is very unusual. Nevertheless, we have run checks with our staff to make sure Sheraton standards are upheld in this respect at all times. We are sorry to hear that your visit coincided with active building works going on nearby. At least the works were short-lived and are always restricted in terms of the hours and days on which they can operate to ensure minimum guest and resident disruption. Having stayed here before in a huge villa and pool, this time we decided to stay with friends in the same villa. Great check-in, clean and tidy villa, spacious and lovely pool area. Bicycle are fun riding around the resort and local area. Food and beverage ok.
