Dear Lorelie, Thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed the clean facilities, hot water as well as the shop and restaurant nearby. We are situated in the Desert thus experiencing extreme dry conditions hardening the ground. Looking forward to welcome you back. Best wishes, The Sossus Oasis Team

Great campsite - we stayed one night in the campsite inside the park, so we could get to the dunes earlier, but stayed at Sossus Oasis the following night. It was well worth it - felt very indulgent to have individual washing facilities, but was very welcome! Would be good if

Dear Monika, Thanks for the question! Yes, it is advisable to book in advance to ensure you have a spot as there are only 12 private campsites. We do have a group campsite with shared ablution as well, but there is also limited space available. Looking forward to your visit! Best wishes, The Sossus Oasis Team

Dear Gary, Thank you for the question. It would be advisable to rent a vehicle and do a self-drive to Sossusvlei as it is about a 5 hour drive and there isn't any public transport available to Sossusvlei. The other option is to take part in an organized tour from an operator in Windhoek. It is also advisable to book prior to arrival as the availability is very limited. Please contact our Taleni Africa reservations office for availability. Best wishes, The Taleni Africa Team
