We went here as a big group. Took 7 villas. The villas are old but clean. All utensils were provided. It's near the beach. Close to town. I wouldn't say the beds are comfortable but it's okay for the price. As for the service of the staff, they are good. But we were promised a late check out from the headquarters which was supposed to be 1:00 p.m. We went as a group and were to do an activity together. But were were surprised to be told to clear rooms by 10:00 a.m. Made us rush and fast track. Mind you we were over 35 people. We had to then call our bus and it caused so much inconvenience. This trip however was not to party but to part take in a positive community impact project with the local communities of Nadroga. The team were kinda exhausted but this act baffled us. Otherwise its a nice place. Good to chill at a cheaper price.

What a beautiful place. Had a surprise 16th birthday here for one of my nephews, and their bungalows are big enough to host his best mates from school. I'll always remember this place, as it was where my daughter, then 6 months, had her first pool swim session. She loved it soooo much!!! and has never had enough of going to pools since then. Vinaka Tubakula for the experience!!!

I chose the hostel option and was very pleased with the accomodation. I had a room within a 2 room bungalow. The food available onsite was delicious. Location is ideal as it is right on a beach, pool also available and met other nice travelers. The convenient transfer service was also handy.

Had our family reunion there and had the beach front units and ocean view, 10 in total, the service was great very helpful staff, rooms were excellent had cooking facilities and can also request for additional things if required. The location is just great to have a family reunion, there is no TV to hold the children indoors.Everyone was able to spend quality time together with activities organized by the family, had the pool to swim in and also the ocean.
Best part of our holiday was everyone was able to take part in the sack race, apple eating and tug of war.
The family has already started planning for our next trip which is in 2 years time. Highly recommend this place if you want to spend real family time or quality time with the family that you have been missing out on.

Worst of the worst! From day of check in, we paid for 5 rooms with the family. Since booking, they knew that there was 5 of us coming. The dishware were not complete, cups, bowls, towels and even the focking refrigerators were not working. Sharing toaster since day one. They wanted to charge us for missing kitchen ware when in fact they were not there in the first place. Make sure you take pictures when you check in.
The refrigerators were not even cold for days! Had to get ice packs from the supermarket. They entered the room without seeking permission and on the day of check out, they said that towels were missing. We brought our own towels but since they have been entering the rooms, they take things. They wanted to charge us for the towels!!! For focks sakes! What a disgrace! Even the fan in one of the rooms weren’t working. Their timing of service was bloody inconsistent. The refrigerators were older than my old principals ballsacks. Rag as fock and the coolant was somehow refusing to do its job. What the Fock!
The Indian lady namely, Shristi , the lady at the reception and the women, were somehow all confused as to who brought such and such. What the Fock !!! Most of the stuff they accused us of taking were there when they checked! Bunch of focktatds!!!
What a bloody joke! I would never recommend this stay for anyone that’s planning to come over to the country even if it’s the only place left. We only ended up here in the first place because all the nice hotels and resort were fully booked. Never go here.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent stay with us. We value all guest input as it helps us to enhance our service. However, it would have been helpful if you had raised your concerns and complaints while you were still at the hotel, or when you extended your stay an extra night, rather than after the issue arose with the missing towels. Prompt communication with our management team allows us to address and resolve any discrepancies right away, ensuring a more comfortable and satisfactory experience. Regarding the removal of items from the room, we do have check in and check out inventory lists, and our policy necessitates charges for any missing items. This is to maintain the availability of items for other guests, and helps keep our rates low. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you pleasant journeys ahead.

Ridiculous hotel. Villas are there which can accommodate 6 people but only comes inclusive of 2 people and have to extra for the rest of the people.
I have been running Marriott properties since years and we have never seen people charging extra when the villas are made to accomodate 6 people.
I am not sure who is the manager if they can contact me back sriyaaf@fourpointssherwoodpark.com
Seriously I have never seen management running business like this. Complete rip off. We were planning for a wedding there in July which we will shift it to the other location now. Total loss of 7 villas and 1 conference room and catering.
Whoever owns this should really take note of important points. If you are running a hospitality business it’s not about money it’s about service. We will for sure let all our family and friends know not to book any more rooms or have any functions from there.
If the management wants to chat about this my email is mentioned.

not worth it
Pathetic customer service.
My family decided to have a last minute trip for easter weekend so I recommended tubukula beach as I visited this place 2 years back with my friends the staffs were so welcome and the lady at reception was so nice and humble
But this visit turned out to be a total opposite. The lady at the reception was really rude and did not had any respect for the guests or the staffs present there.
Need to show some professionalism and work on client response as the customer service was really pathetic.

This is a great little property that is not as well known as it deserves to be. Located a short walk from the large Outrigger Reef Resort, Tubakula has self-contained cabins right on the beach for a whole lot less than what the "resorts" are charging, and the atmosphere is totally relaxed. We loved this place because it was so laid-back. It probably wouldn't be the first choice of people who want lots of pampering or services since there aren't many on offer, but the excellent prices, comfortable cabins, friendly service and lovely location more than made up for it!

Second visit to Tubakula in Nov 2004. Great location right on the beach, but is next to the highway so strongly recommend the beachside bungalows as opposed to the roadside ones. Most of the bungalows are now renovated; they were working on the last couple during our visit.
The bungalow has a large kitchen/diner with fridge and gas cooker, sofa, table and four chairs, plus all utensils, a double bedroom, a shower room with shower, toilet and sink, and an upstairs bedroom that sleeps two or three. There is no aircon but we found the fans perfectly adequate on this visit and on our previous one in hot February. You also get a terrace with a roof (shade and protection from falling nuts, they do not de-nut the trees here!) which has a table and two comfy wooden chairs. Bungalows lock securely and there is a 24 hour guard around, plus safe deposit at reception. We felt very safe.
The beachside bungalows are 10 metres from the water; swimming at high tide only as all along the coral coast, but just glorious. On site restaurant which serves cheap tasty meals, bar, small shop. TV and nightly video. No washing machines but hand laundry. There is a swimming pool, hammocks and barbecue area. Bungalows serviced daily with cleanup and fresh towels, and the staff are so welcoming and friendly, chatting with them was one of the highlights although we did feel very lazy with all their industry.
not a lot goes on at Tubakula which is all part of the fun, if you want organised activities you need to be elsewhere. 10 mins walk to the Outrigger Reef (or whatever it is called now) and just beyond are two good cheap restaurants. The other way is Malevu village and we highly recommend their weekly Fijian night, non-touristy, friendly and in the good cause of the village children. Stop in Sigatoka on your way in to buy food, or you can get bits and bobs in the Tubakula shop, the Outrigger shop (at higher prices!) or the little shop in Malevu.
highly recommended.

I stayed in Tubakula with my wife in Ocober 2011.
Our bungalow was old and not maintained; especially outdoor metal chairs were rust.
Sandy beach is only for sunbath, since water is too low for swimming, even at high tide.
Sea in front of Tubakula is full of slime because of near river and there are no corals and there is very few fish. After heavy rain the whole bay in front of Tubakula is brown and grass near bungalows is full of frogs. Perhaps the Coral coats in was nice 20 years ago, now is more like coral cemetery.
On the other hand the Lodge is Remote and you need a Taxi or Rent a car for any trip in the region.
The most beautiful thing in Tubakula was very friendly cook.
If you want to enjoy Fiji visit Islands, especially Yasawas where we have wonderful time.

Certainly. Only Roadside bungalows are along the roadside - Poolside, Oceanview and Beachfront bungalows are not near the roadside but are located as their description suggests. Therefore, to be away from the Roadside, please book a Poolside, Oceanview or Beachfront Bungalow.
