we stayed here on the 13th march 2017, couldn't have picked a better place. The food and drink was excellent as was the staff and the room. Nothing to fault at all it was a lovely warm, friendly country pub. If we are ever down that way again we will certainly be staying here again.

I booked a weekend away for my partners birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The staff at the Haymaker Inn were fantastic, the service, food, dinner was brilliant (only complaint was we couldn't finish it all and try one of the lovely puddings on offer!) the accommodation overall was just lovely! Clean and tidy...

Excellent country Pub with comfortable rooms and wonderful Evening Meals. The Landlord and Landlady made us feel very welcome. Pleasant walks around the Pub with easy access to Lyme Regis and other Seaside resorts

An impromptu night out to a pub that we had seen in passing and read about it's refurbishment. Good pub grub with a friendly service and well worth a return trip. Open for food on a Monday night which is a bonus as many local pub are closed

We were lucky enough to be able to book a room here on the morning of our visit - the room was lovely, clean and well equipped. We had lunch in the restaurant which was excellent - taste and price wise. We had a couple of drinks in the bar later on our return from visiting friends who live locally...

Lovely country pub atmosphere, quaint, clean, friendly. Been there several times now for Sunday lunch. Food always cooked to perfection, crispy potatoes, hot veg, tender meat and hot plates. Service always good, happy smiling staff. I often ask for extra apple sauce and they are always happy to oblige. Always a choice of 2 meats and a good selection of...

We stayed here for two nights to go to River Cottage in Axminster. Simple quick journey there and ideal for anyone looking for somewhere to stay and go there. Little confusing checking in as we didn't realise we needed to go round to the back entrance. Excellent price! Room had great facilities, bottled water, tea, coffee, biscuits and comfy bed....
