We're from USA (Indiana) and spent a lot of time planning a 3 week trip through Italy, Switzerland, and France. We took our 5 children (12-21 years of age) -- so needed large hotels/apartments. The positive reviews and pictures were all accurate. We loved it. The Pucci family is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the largest of the...

We, a family of 5 including 3 teenagers, have stayed two weeks in July 2009 in app Giotto in Villa Cafaggiolo, after spending hours on the internet. Also because of all the nice reviews, we choose to go to Villa Cafaggiolo, app Giotto. In our opinion it is not at all 5*, nor luxurious. Firstly, we did not want to...

We stayed in the Michelangelo house on the property. Super comfortable beds, quilts, pillows and quiet surroundings which made for good night sleeps. Pool was open but still too cold at beginning of May. Enjoyed sitting on the edge, soaking up the sun! Showers had good pressure. No wifi but could connect with land line for a fee (we didn't...

Stayed for a week in April with family in the largest apartment. This apartment is better suited to 2 families with smaller kids as each sides has connecting bedrooms - you need to go through one bedroom to reach the other. Do not expect hotel type amenities as it is exactly what they advertise - a chance to live in...

The villa is somewhere between the villages of Tori and Rosano in central Tuscany, about 15-20 minutes (by car) south-east from Firenze. It has a wonderful exposure towards the valley below and opposite hills, so there's no lack of sun and scenery. Upon arrival we were greeted by Paula, which is a wonderful hostess. She explained everything in patient detail,...

I really wanted to book two apartments at Villa Cafaggiolo for our family reunion, the villa looks great and it has great reviews. I had initially email the Pucci family in Sept 2011 to confirm availability of the apartment. We were advised that there was no availability. That was Ok and I moved on. In January 2012, I emailed them...

We stayed at the apartment Michelangelo for a week in January 2012 and it was a unique experience. Homey and solitary atmosphere, yet all the best Tuscany places are within easy reach. We rented a car and with a kind help of Paola made the best ever program of one-day tours around. Every day was perfect starting from sunny winter...

This was a wonderful place to immerse the family into life in Tuscany. We stayed off season and were concentrating on art and architecture in Florence and surrounds. The area is very scenic but more rugged and mountainous than the highly cultivated Chianti Classico area. The chief attraction turned out to be the family Pucci. It was just wonderful to...

My husband, myself and 3 of my children traveled to Tuscany for 6 weeks last summer and stayed in Apartment Giotto for the first 3 weeks of our trip. I am a "picky" traveler and did a lot of research, the villa and apt. were exactly as described. The Pucci family, however, was a wonderful surprise. Paola is a quintessential...
