A peace, a silence accompanied by the fantastic shapes of cats and soft pillows, all a warmth and ease lulled by the noise of the immense river that runs nearby. You find more than you were looking for. An experience very close to happiness

Albergo I Villini is excellent place to stay with warm atmosphere, helpful and friendly Angela and Tino.
We absolutely loved staying here, everything was just perfect, including unique Tino's artistic works in the hotel and calm misty mornings, beautiful nature around.
We want to thank Angela and Tino and to wish them all the best!
For us it will be really happy day when we`ll come to Albergo I Villini again.

Hi all,
We were very satisfied with our choice. Angela and Tino are great people. It is very nice accommodation next to river. Great place to go to Tuscany and find magic atmosphere of this area. Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Siena nearby car. Firenze 15min by train (every 30min). We can recommend trip to Cinque Terre (Portovenere boat trip is definitely great choice). See you here again :) Petr & Marketa

We booked 5 months in advance for 3 adults and 1 16 year old with parking and breakfast and a shared room . In reality what we got was two rooms one double bed and a set of bunk beds for children wholly unsuitable for a 19 stone woman and 16 stone teenager the smell was old the decor was dated and the clutter was emense thank god it was only for one night and we left as early as we could breakfast was extra we gave it a miss I slept dressed and could not wait to leave the parking wasn't onsite at all it was on the street the cost was way too much for what you received. I Checked under the shower mate it wasn't pleasant. The decor was inappropriate it was random naked art with various household hooks for private parts etc. and to crown it off we had a squashed dead bug on our door jam and to really make you feel closed in the view from the child's room was stright onto a filthy screen. The wifi was great. the couple were very nice and helpful.

We have been quite surprised and sad to read your comments about our hotel, as it seems everything went wrong, and we try to reply briefly, but in a clear and honest way. The rooms are perfectly described and photographed in every booking portal so it is very easy to get an idea of where you will stay. The B&B is basic, simple and original furnishings and this is our prerogative as we use recycled materials and recovery object. The cost of the family room ( 4 pax) is really cheap (20 euro per person) for 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 2 showers with dressing and this price was also applied for the Easter night (Tuscany just few km from Florence). For the beds and the bathroom: after having checked them all we have not found any problem that might have brought you thinking it was "not pleasant", as they are perfectly clean and spotless. We consider ourselves deeply offended by these accusations that we consider false. However, as we do take very seriously all feedback of our guests, we will continue to work with passion and seriousness to ensure cleanliness and hospitality, because these are our peculiarities, as well as one of the positive points that many guests reports us directly or through TA. the Gospel Says : Margaritas ante porcos.....and sometimes, sorry, it's true.

The owners at Albergo Villini are such lovely people. They made us feel welcome and went out of their way to talk to us and help us. We were given information about the town and excellent dinner recommendations. The B&B is quaint and quirky with really cute artworks in every nook and cranny. The rooms are clean and bright with great art. The only downfall was smoking is allowed and can be smelt in rooms. Otherwise it is excellent value in a beautiful location!

We stayed 2 nights in this cosy little Inn. The owner Tino was very friendly and helpful in giving tips to get around Florence. It's very near to the train station on the map. We drove for our trip in Italy, only 30mins away from the town or outlets if you enjoy some shopping. This Inn is away from the busy crowded town center. I liked the peace it provides.

We did not have breakfast, could easily settle it by going to supermart just 5mins walk away. The towels and mats looked rather old, the furnishings are very interesting and the whole hotel is uniquely themed to cats which we liked alot.

All of the reviews are accurate. It is a unique place! Sound carries, so it is nice if everyone is respectful. The owners are very helpful! We stayed in the family area with two rooms, two showers and one bathroom. It was easy to take the train into Florence. We did not have the breakfast. Older place but clean and comfortable.

I stayed in Pontassieve for one week at Angela and Tinos place. They have been very friendly and helpful all over the time. The rooms and the lobby are decorated nicely with artworks by Tino and that`s what makes a unique atmosphere. It was like feeling home from the first second on. The place is located very central. So it`s easy to reach the center of Pontassieve and the beautiful scenery around the rivers! The station is only a few steps walking time. Florence is 20 min by train which is leaving almost every 30 min. So it was easy to reach other Tuscany cities like Siena, Lucca and Arezzo. I also would suggest to order the breakfast with selfmade jam by Angela-- which also was one of the highlights-- and fresh croissants!

A pleasant resting place after a hard days' walk. Located by the banks of the river and you might easily pass it by unless you are looking closely. But the ensuite rooms are individually and tastefully decorated and the beds super comfortable. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea and a drinking fountain are free and available.

After a long day of walking the simple but friendly Albergo Villini offered a family-like place of rest. The room was clean and had all that I needed. A small kitchen on the corridor offers self-service of coffee and tea, and the owner provided me with a map of the place and advice on which restaurant would best cater for my needs.
