We stayed one night in this paradise during a stage of the Way of the Gods. Very intimate environment. Reception and total availability. Alfonso has a lot of taste, the environment is nice, simple but refined. The dinner was based on all local products, served outside, very romantic. The breakfast buffet is very rich: homemade jams and desserts, divine milk sandwiches. There is also a savoury choice, with cheeses and vegetables grown directly on site. The rooms are complete with every comfort and we slept well.

We came to Alfonso's from the UK during our Via degli Dei walk from Bologna to Florence. Everything about our stay was perfect - even the hand wash was memorable! You can tell a lot of thought and love has gone into making this a welcoming place to sleep and eat. The rooms were lovely, comfy beds, gorgeous bathrooms with powerful showers. The outside relaxing area was lovely for a drink before our meal too and we became obsessed with the tasty fennel snacks provided with the beer!
We were the only guests so were treated to a tasting menu made specially by the chef; part of the fun was not knowing what was coming out next. The pasta was the best we've eaten in Italy and the ribs were beautiful. I loved that the produce was grown in the garden or sourced locally and you could tell. Oh and the breakfast was delicious as well; loved the homemade items and jams.
Alfonso was the perfect host; even picking us up and dropping us off from the Via degli Dei route. We would definitely stay here if we visit Italy again. Many thanks Alfonso!

We stayed here while traveling along the Via degli Dei. Magnificent and well-kept place. Great availability and hospitality!! Sumptuous dinner with very high quality products, practically every dish at km0. The owner is a farmer!!

Siamo stati a pranzo una domenica di maggio, quindi posso recensire solo la parte dedicata alla ristorazione. Però l'ambiente ha tutte le carte in regola per rivelarsi ottimo anche dal punto di vista dell'ospitalità nelle cinque camere a disposizione. Abbiamo degustato il menù fisso preparato da Alfonso e la sua famiglia con i prodotti del loro orto e carne di produttori locali. Tutto di ottima qualità e gusto. Lasciatevi consigliare da Alfonso e dalla sua ospitalità e non rimarrete delusi. Ottimo anche il vino biologico e il dolce. Prezzi più che ottimi sia per il menù ridotto per i bimbi che per gli adulti. Abbiamo poi approfittato della veranda per rilassarci dopo pranzo mente i bimbi giocavano all'aperto incuriositi dagli animali da cortile che popolano questo splendido posto. Da ritornare il prima possibile.

Das wunderschöne Haus mit dieser tollen Aussicht, ruhig gelegen und doch nur 20 min. nordöstlich von Florenz, das einfach nur grandiose Zimmer mit einem sehr modernen Bad, die Außenanlagen mit der Freisitzloggia, das einfach nur phantastische Essen, die unglaublich freundlichen Inhaber - alles allerbestens! Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen!
