Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We spent two nights in this location, we opened booked for the possibility of also being able to use the swimming pool which is quite important in the month of August. The structure could be kept much better than it currently is by carrying out some small maintenance works, the staff proved to be very kind and helpful, the rooms are quite clean and the beds are very comfortable despite the mosquito nets being broken in many parts of the room holes in the plaster are clearly visible as well as the need to paint the entire structure. The breakfast is quite varied, offering sweet and savory dishes, a few steps away there is also the restaurant with riding stables where we had the opportunity to dine on the first evening. I don't think I would recommend it to a friend. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to spend a few relaxing days without great demands, this is the right place.

Booked 5 days on Booking with the idea of a farm surrounded by nature, idea of relaxation, pool and great food .. sure shame that seemed to be somewhere else! Room with dirty walls, two nearby mattresses one lower and the other higher, in the morning you wake up with an amazing back pain. Fan that fixed my partner because he was unscrewed and made an unbearable noise, mosquito net broken and in its place there was a Velcro attached, shower clogged with limestone, even the one uncorked by my partner. Breakfast let's talk about it, the only positive note was the lady who welcomed us in the morning, kind and sunny .. but the leftover cakes put there for days and very little choice .. pool just let go, dirty and messy .. the first dinner we did in their restaurant, normal food but nothing big. I am very sorry because the place is wonderful, if only there was more passion and love it would stand out much more. I hope my review can be constructive. Nothing is easy, but it takes so little ..

Bad pool experience! Lack of availability of deckchairs for everyone... and no one who monitors how many deckchairs can take a family each .. some families had 10 beds others forced to lie with towels on the ground ... like a communal pool ... made known to the lifeguard who, lying comfortably on the deckchair continued to crush the cell saying that I was not his problem ... but it was common sense of people not to take too many beds .... in my opinion a monitoring would be necessary since I certainly did not pay less than those who had a cot! Also made present at the reception who says he communicated it to the owner... but arrived to verify! Maybe when you organize these days, we came for August 15, with the pool included maybe if you are not organized or do not do it or specify it before the deck chairs are not included, no at the time of payment.

Friendly and very helpful staff, very clean and well organized environment. Also the pool is small but very intimate .. a nice experience definitely to recommend. The only note perhaps to improve is the swimming pool of the sports center where we did not teovato well, but I do not know if it is related to their structure

Would not recommend the owners to host guests while they are hosting a children’s camp.
This place is overpriced. The owners spend all their time at their restaurant down the street. We arrived to find that an overnight children’s camp, with 63 kids, was being run out of the hotel. Unlike our other 4 hotels, we were asked to fill out the Passport forms ourselves, which we never did. The only WiFi is in the common area, which was always flooded with kids, even on the stairs. We came down in the morning to find a camp counselor sleeping on the couch in the lobby.
The staff we very friendly and helpful, when they were around. We had to let in other guests and give them a phone number to reach staff.
Breakfast is excellent, but the veranda has hanging thorns that need trimming. I saw a guest bump his face into thorns trying to get drinks.
The pool water was cloudy, and the pool was not on until our last day. I found a nail on the lawn by the pool. We did not get any new towels until after our third day, and the toilet paper had one new roll and two other rolls were used rolls (one only had 1/3 left on the roll). In the lobby, the bathroom has a bowl full of used toilet paper...with majority almost gone. The mannequin in the window was a bit creepy, but it was explained it was something needed for camp relating to a theme a year or so ago. It does not make sense keeping it there.
We were grateful that we were offered a ride to our train, but he arrived 10minutes late, and we had to wait at the Sieci for 90 minutes for the next one.

We booked over a year ago for a wedding that was being hosted at the castle and stayed in the B & B which was part of the estate. Communication was extremely poor and we were panicking as to whether we were booked or not. We were told to call when we were 20 minutes away but no one would answer the phone. When we arrived we called again and someone then arrived to let us in. For 100 euros per night we expected a very nice room but what we got was a small double room with 60's flowery sheets and a 50's patchwork quilt. The towel on the bed was basically a very worn T towel. When I asked for towels I was told they were on the bed but then gave me an old brown and old blue towel which was not even large enough to wrap around me. The shower head was broken so that rather than getting a shower we got a bucket of water over us. There was no water or tea and coffee making facilities in the room and nowhere in the property where you could get a drink. The breakfast was pitiful. We stayed 4 nights and did not get clean towels and only had the bed made twice. No cleaning was done in the 4 days. They say they price match if you find a better price on another site and when I found the same room for £72 they would not honour their promise. The swimming pool was empty. The photos above are not of this property but of the villas on the estate. I am just stating the facts and not giving a bad review for the sake of it. We stayed in a small hotel in the centre of Florence for less which was 100% better in every way. Very disappointed.

We stayed in a lovely warm and well equipped room in a very well renovated Tuscan home. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, offering us a welcoming coffee, then giving us a lift over to the other part of the hotel for some food. The restaurant in the other building was excellent and the owner once again gave us a lift back after our meal. The best part came when we left and we're offered yet another lift to a neighboring village. The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for us

This a gem in Tuscan countryside. It felt like staying with very generous relatives! The owners are genuinely considered and the accommodation is clean with an original decor that creates a calm & homely feel.
Great surroundings offering fresh aroma of herbs, vineyards, olive trees, fig trees ...... that awaken the scenes every time you step out. The swimming pool is built against a backdrop of green mountains for worry-free feeling. I would definitely stay there again.
