Passion and attention to detail have inspired the restoration of this ancient farmhouse, with the aim of offering our guests the opportunity to stay in an exclusive atmosphere, surrounded by vineyards, just 10 km from Florence.Hospitality is provided in eight comfortable and refined apartments in a farmhouse built in the eighteenth century, located in an evocative and unique Tuscan landscape surrounded by Chianti Rufina vineyards, olive groves, and hills with woods of cypresss, holm and oak trees. The care we have taken in choosing and restoring the furnishing of each apartment symbolizes our bond with these ancient sites, and our interest in preserving them, as evidence of a rural culture that is not to be forgotten.

Beautifully furnished apartments. Good place for families. Fantastic pool with the best view of the vineyards. Quiet atmosphere (bad animals, balls etc not allowed by the pool). Possibility of charging an electric car on site. Helpful and welcoming host who responded quickly to questions throughout the week. The nearest town is nothing special, but there is a large delicious supermarket (Coop). Short drive to Florence.

We did the cooking class with our 4 young children while vacationing in Tuscany. We booked the class easily through our farmhouse stay and it was easy to find. The grounds and vineyard are dreamy, the kitchen was rustic and a fantastic, homey setting for the class. We all had the best time and learned so much! They were wonderful with our children!! There was soooo much food!! We took everything back to enjoy at our farmhouse stay! Highly recommend!!

We had an excellent stay at i veroni in early June 2012. This place is perfectly located just a few kilometers or a 20 minutes train ride away from Florence. The house and apartments are very clean and well renovated. We stayed at Casa del Cacciatore, which was perfect for our two kids (2 and 4 years old) as they could use two terraces and the lawn. The view was great and so was the swimming pool ... and so was the hospitality of the staff. sorry hard to find any shortcomings. Enjoy your stay!

We have really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, the short distance to Florence and the efficiency and kindness of the team. The sightseeing is good, despite a view on Pontassieve industrial district in the valley. Though in an ancient farmhouse, the apartments have been recently restored in a rather modern style.

I traveled with my girlfrindes the last september, for a week we stayed in Agriturismo I Veroni, what to say... we have spent a beautiful time, enjoining the swimming pool until sunset, having a serveral trekking trip on the hills around and visiting for the second time Florence, they suggest us the train for reaching the old town, lovely!

And to Elena for her suggestions about restaurants and shopping center!

Amazing holiday in an amazing place... suggested!

We had 15 people in our group (all artists) and everyone was over the moon about this accommodation! Stunning views with a nice pool, a wonderful outdoor barbecue, and very charming, comfortable accommodations. We painted our hearts out every day and never lacked for beautiful landscape material! The staff is so welcoming and helpful and it was fun to watch them harvest the grapes in the surrounding vineyards. Florence is only a short train ride away if you tire of the views (not likely). Thank you I Veroni! We will be coming back in the future!

The house is very well restored and the interior is very well decorated. Is is beautifully located in the middle of vineyards and olive trees. Very nice also for families, reception was very friendly.
We rated it with only 4 dotswe had bad smell every 10-20 minutes on our terrace (we informed the landlord, thus probably fixed by now), which spoils eating outside with views over the hills.
Location is close to Pontassieve with its shops and the train station (20 min. to Florence).

Well decorated appartment, kind hosts, beautiful location. The appartment looked the same as shown on the website, so no (unpleasant) surprises.

The garden furniture was well chosen for the looks, but wasn't comfortable at all.

I have to put a disclaimer in this review because I am not really an agriturismo kind of person so my review may seem slightly negative. First the location, a 20 minute train ride to Florence and very easy to get to train station to bring you to other great Tuscan towns as well. Pontassieve itself is more of a modern town since it was heavily bombed during World War 2 it is missing the beautiful characteristically Tuscan architecture we all travel to Italy for but it has all the amenities that you would need. The agriturismo is a 5 minute drive from downtown and it just beyond a very nice suburban neighborhood that quickly changes to hills and vineyards with few neighbors.
The building is two story L shape that contains 4 or 5 apartments to rent, a reception area with kitchen (that was always closed), a lovely covered outdoor kitchen with large long tables next to the open pit cooking area and a laundry facility with washer and dryer. There is also a fabulous pool with deck and lounge chairs for each apartment. Our apartment was on the second floor without a connected patio or terrace which was a major drawback for me but each apartment has its own outdoor space and table, nice but we did not use because it was far from the apartment. Inside the apartment was adequate. Two nice bedrooms with comfy beds and there was also a twin bedroom that we used for luggage. There was no living room just a tiny loveseat next to the fireplace in the kitchen. Lack of a living area was a disappointment so we had to hang at the kitchen table at night or go to your bedroom. The kitchen was supplied with enough pots and dishes but inventory should be taken so missing items can be replaced like wine glasses, wine opener, food storage containers and sharp knives. Other things missing from the kitchen to make it functional was an American coffee maker, toaster or toaster oven. There was however a huge microwave that took up the entire countertop and a huge dishwasher both of which were never used
Overall it was a nice place for the price.
Pros- nearby train, close to Florence, scenic views
Cons- Though this is a functioning vineyard, we never were able to tour or taste because we did not reserve in advance and were told they were too busy to accommodate us.
Everything you will need you have to buy yourself including toilet paper, tissues, dish soap, salt and pepper etc. It would be nice if they at least offered a welcome basket with some essentials. Having charcoal and wood available would also be a nice touch even if they charged you for it.
My last complaint was when we arrived at the predetermined time there was no one there to greet us, we had to call then wait. Same deal for checkout. Not very welcoming. Nice place but I prefer a few more amenities.
