Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed one night and had a wonderful meal in garden of the restaurant. They are supporters of the slow food movement and the leisurely meals checked all the boxes for a traditional tuscan menu with a touch of added creativity. Unfortunately, we were unable to do justice to the wine cellar owing to a planned 20 km hike in the morning. The room was neat, clean and comfortable. As we were leaving early, they made sure to provide a reasonable breakfast laid out for us in the dining room the night before.

My Mum and I undertook a pilgrimage following in the footsteps of St. Frances of Assissi August 2013, we walked from Florence to Sansepolcro. This was our first stop-over and it felt like we walked into an art gallery, we were pleasantly surprised by this very characteristic Tuscan B&B. The food was delicious and we were very spoilt and well looked after. We would strongly recommend this place for couples, art and food lovers.

Toscani da Sempre was the first stop on my walk from Florence to Rome. This small locanda was a very pleasant surprise. Though unpretentious and inconspicuous from the little street near the Pontassieve station, it has recently been very smartly refurbished. Rooms are tastefully decorated with very good quality furniture and fittings. There is a large courtyard garden with shade fir pre-dinner drinks. Dinner was simple but of good quality, breakfast likewise. I recommend it! There is no pool or fitness centre, by the way.

We stayed only one night in this beautiful town. The location of the hotel is excellent, walking distance to main attractions.
There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we did not eat there.
The rooms are basic, but spacious.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Good WIFI.

It is in a good location. The accommodations are very basic. The bed is very firm with very flat pillows. While it is clean and well kept, the rooms are small and pretty basic. I can't see out my window. The temperature control doesn't have a thermostat.

We were in Europe for 3 weeks in September. We started in Paris and drove south and then into Italy. We wanted to visit Florence, but did not want to stay in the city proper.
We found a small B&B Hotel in Pontossieve. Th train station is 2 minutes from the hotel., and the train to Florence takes about 20 minutes. The hotel rooms were very nice and there was a restaurnt which was excellent. Tuscan cuisine at its best, and local wines that were outstandingt. The establishment is family run Isella and her brother the chef, both speak English and French and I they also can handle German. The restaurant is full of locals, the prices are reasonable and we ate there the two evenings we were in town. I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone who wants to visit Florence and have a taste of Tuscany that you will find in many smaller cities in the region.. Wilf Langevin
