Well after our fifth (I think,,lost count)visit what can I say...GREAT friends Franco and Gabriella. They would do anything to make yo happy. The place is great, clean and always friendly. The FOOD!!!!!!! hard to match...Gabriella is just the best cook! Be prepared to put on weight! IF ONLY we lived closer!!!...we live in Australia...we would be back more frequently! Thanks guys for a great place.

We visited Podere le Pialle the third time and Im sure we will back there again. This is one of my favorite places for vacations. We took our friends with us and they were absolutly amazed this place. The farm's owners are the most hospitable and sincere people I've ever met. Be sure you will have all what you need for comfortable staying and relaxing. Come here and check it for yourself.

We enjoyed our stay in Podere le Pialle during June 2014. It is situated among beautiful Tuscany mountains, a bit remote, very silent and beautiful place. Excellent hospitality, very good food. Very nice place to relax and enjoy the mountain views.

We spent 3 unforgettable nights at Podere Le Pialle over Christmas! Franco and Gabriella were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcomed. The country house and its surroundings are picture perfect. No shortage of activities in the area and even during the dead of winter. The drive into Florence is a picturesque 30 minute drive from the country-house. Christmas Day we woke up had our breakfast in the cozy dining room and went off to Florence. We returned to an amazing Christmas feast. We were served course after course of homemade local dishes. The food is spectacular. Everything at Podere Le pialle is made fresh daily even the dessert! During our stay we had all of our meals prepared for us- we would walk into the cozy dining room with lovely music to our table that was set up for the three of us. After dinner, over Vin Santo Franco would tell us stories of the country house and growing up in Florence- we loved it! Gabriella and Franco thank you again, we cannot stop thinking about the food and we are already planning our next visit!

We stayed two nights at this agriturismo, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Getting there is a bit of an adventure, but that's part of the charm. You get far away from the cities and can enjoy real peace and quiet among the olive trees of the tuscan hills. Since the farm is so small it has a really friendly and intimate atmosphere, and Gabriella and Franco are warm and accomodating hosts. And if you want to experience genuine tuscan cooking this is definitely a great place to go! The room was clean and comfortable and had a kitchenette if you want to do some lighter cooking yourself (I imagine this could come in handy on a longer stay).
