The location of the hostel is a big far from the jetty, but you can ask for abang din (hostel owner) to fetch you up at the jetty anytime during day. The food was great, abang din's wife was a great cook, she knew what we want and offer great hospitality. Abang din even accompany us playing at the river...

I went to visit Taman Negara just for one night and we stayed in the room with no air conditioning for RM 90.00 love it! It's clean small and just nice for a night stay. The food was ok but I didn't had my dinner there because it's cheaper at town but the owner are very attentive especially for the...

Stayed here with a friend in July. We had two nights here in one of the chalets without AC. The setting is quite beautiful because it's secluded. The accomodation is fairly basic but clean, and breakfast is included. Mat Leon is really helpful re:booking tours. It's a 15 minute walk into town, and if walking back after dinner you'll need...

The view is great but location far away and shuttle service by boat not available all time (even if it says it is) Room was not clean at all. Breakfast rather small for that price. Only toast, butter, yam, coffe and tea available. Butter looked not very appealing and stored outside all the time. Nice owners but they dont speak...

The place is outside the main town but you can be picked up over a boat or delivered to your buses or activities by the family running the resort so it wasn't a problem at ll. Walking is bout 15 minutes so not too far (but a bit boring). The place is run by lovely family always smiling and helpful...

We decided to get the new chalet (180 RM/night) for aircon. The room is very basic, but has a hot shower. Even if they clean the room, you will have creatures running around, just don't forget your mosquito repellent, it's needed! Like said in previous comments, it's a bit of a walk from the town, but if you didn't book...

At first I really didn't like the room (a 'chalet' that had a strong smell of humidity and a bathroom that looks like prison), but when you know that some months before there was a flood, you try to be more tolerant... Also, it is compensated by the adorable family who runs the place. If you go there, try and...
