Very beautiful bungalow! Only fan, no airco, but not to hot! Refrigerator and coffemaker in the room, very nice! There are 2 Jacuzzi on the terrain of the lodge. The Tenorio NP is not far away and was very beautiful. The color change of the river Celeste is amazing and the waterfall (254 steps down and up again!) also beautiful....

We stayed two nights when visiting Tenorio Volcano national park. There wasn't a single detail we were not fully happy with. The bungalow was incredibly spacious and had great architecture with wood and huge glass walls. The jacuzzis are perfect for relaxing after hikes in the national park. Food was way above our expectations and all staff, especially the French couple running...

We stayed at Hotel Tenorio lodge for two nights in December, and despite awful weather, enjoyed our stay. It wasn't perfect, but had some real plus points: 1. Our bungalow - This was the star of the stay. Fantastic eco-lodge style accommodation. A wooden cabin on stilts (see photos) with a panoramic view out over forest at the back. An...

Recently spent two nights here. Family of four surprised that our bungalow was one bedroom with two large beds, so all four of us (two 20 somethings and parents) got to spend more quality time together than expected, especially also because the wall between the bathroom and bedroom is really a 3/4 wall, so all noises radiate throughout - and...

This quaint hotel offers adorable individual cabins. The cabins are clean and beautiful with large windows offering spectacular views (when the weather is clear). There is a restaurant onsite that offers free breakfast. I did not give this Hotel 5-stars based on a few things. First of all, the hotel description states that wifi was available when in fact it...

Spent a couple days here and my boyfriend and i were both very impressed. The rooms were beautiful l, and the staff was exceptional. Emily served us at the restaurant and was just the sweetest! And not to mention the food was delicious too! Angelina gave us a wonderful tour of the place, and the owner tried to help us...

I really liked the room, big windows which normally have a view of the volcano I think (but when we were there, it was cloudy). One day we had to leave real early for a tour and we had breakfast at 6.15, even though it is normally served at 7, good service. Nice jacuzzi. Laundry service was a bit expensive....

This is a beautiful hotel. The room is nicely constructed with very nice endings. Big comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The surroundings are also nice with beautiful gardens. The only concern was the food. The booked the dinner course at the desk when we checked in. I had the steak filet with soup entry. We hear the microwave sound often....

Such a beautifully landscaped property laying in the valley between two volcanoes. Quiet, lush, and cool. After a day of nature trails it's a perfect place to come back to and unwind. A dip in one of the two jacuzzis doesn't hurt either. The rooms are more like little private cottages and are absolutely gorgeous, with vaulted ceilings and floor...

• Although track from the road is only 200m of rough track, in Green Season you may find exiting back on to the high-way more challenging as it’s steep and 6” rocks. • Don’t know if all rooms the same, but seems you get two double-beds regardless. • No air-con … but even in April the circulating fan did its...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Located between the Tenorio and Miravalles volcanoes at an altitude of 1,640 ft, each one of our 12 bungalows has an exceptional view towards the Tenorio volcano. Rooms are spacious, elegant, and perfectly set out for your greatest comfort. Built on our 17 acres property, in the middle of Heliconias gardens, of fruit trees and tropical vegetation surrounding two natural ponds, the Lodge was designed to offer its guests quietness, relaxation, and serenity. In this peaceful environment, along our trails, you will observe hundreds of birds, learn about native trees or take a dip in one of our two red cedar hot tubs. Among the activities we suggest, you should visit the heart of the Tenorio Volcano's National Park, the "Rio Celeste", well known for its astonishing and enchanting turquoise-blue colour. ... more   less
