This lovely place has many things going for it. First of all, very friendly helpful staff/owners. Spacious clean rooms a nice bed and bathroom (our bathroom had a view of the nice tropical garden). A great breakfast with view of wildlife, toucans, oropendolas and other kinds of birds. There is a wonderful trail on the premises where we spotted sloughts,...

The hosts Pippa & Donald are wonderful - helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Casitas clean & spacious (no hot water from sinks just shower). We did the tubing Rio Celeste with Onca Tours great fun! Found out afterwards we could have driven our car on paved roads to Katira/ did not need to go on very rough Nat Park rd.

On our journey through Costa Rica, we booked for 2 nights in Casitas Tenorio. What a lovely and beautiful place to stay! The owners are very friendly and the way they take care of nature, birds, animals and their self supporting way if life, make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and decorated with beautiful wall paints. The...

Nature at it's finest here at CasitasTenorio! We so enjoyed walking the well marked trails and sitting in the miradors to view the birds and the volcan mountains. The home made guava jam for breakfast was delightful and visiting with host Donald about the wildlife and trees was very educational. I just retired in Costa Rica near Lake Arenal and...

Great B&B, amazing food (we got homemade cheese!!!), and beautiful surroundings. The property is fantastic, lots of birds and we even saw a sloth. Great little trail around the property with amazing views. The room was very clean, and a beautiful mural of the local flora and fauna \ wrapped around the entire room. Lots to do in the area,...

My family spent only one night at Casitas Tenorio. We wish we would have stayed at least two nights. Pip and Donald were great hosts and have a beautiful property. Our teenagers remarked that it was their favorite place after the beach. We plan on coming back to spend some more time in Bijagua on a future trip.

My wife, 2-year-old, and I stayed here for two nights in early May and it was probably the highlight of our 10 days in Costa Rica. Pip was always available to chat with us or talk about the property and was always enthusiastic, even though I'm sure she goes over the same things with all of the tourists! Her and...

Nice place runned by Pip and her husband. The property is large and nicely set up. We extended our 2 night stay with an extra night. First we stayed in room 2 and then room 1. Both are nice but room 1 is a bit nicer (looks newer). The breakfast is excellent and diverse (fresh homebad baked bread, cheese made...
