The property is really beautiful. The lodges are well equiped, have a great view and a veranda ideal for relaxation. Peep & Donald are very charming and gave us a warm welcome. Moreover toucans, monkeys and sloths can be found on the property for our eyes delight.

Stayed here for the second time with my sister. Another wonderful stay. Donald and Pip are exceptional hosts. Excellent wildlife and bird watching on site. Beautiful little casitas, with fridge and coffee maker.Donald can recommend a guide for birding and is very knowledgeable himself about all aspects of Costa Rican wildlife. Highly recommended destination. I will be back!

My only regret about Casitas Tenorio is that we didn't save it for last during our vacation, because it was the highlight of the trip. The cabin was absolutely awesome, the grounds were great, the breakfast was incredible and the owners were delightful. There is a lot of wildlife (LOTS of birds, howler monkeys, sloths) and the trail is peaceful...

Very friendly reception by the owners, tasteful and so well designed bungalows, good location close to volcan tenorio, beautiful garden and trail onsite, a very nice terrace for breakfast while other 'guests' as birds, toucans fly by etc. - Definitely one of the highlights of our 2 week trip through costa rica!

Lovely modern unit with nice deck overlooking the grounds. A short trail to walk with lovely views. The birds at breakfast time were amazing. Kind hosts.... had a good trip to Cano Negro from here on recommendation from Pippa.

Excellent location for bird watchers and nature lovers. Very peaceful. Hosts were marvelous! A Costa Rican & Australian couple. So sweet. Breakfast was fabulous every morning. The bird feeder attracted so many colorful birds and squirrels. Even saw Black mandibles toucans come real close for great photos. Individual cabanas or Villas in the middle of nature added a very special...

We only stayed there two nights at the end of our trip. Next time we will fly in and out of Liberia, and stay with Don And Pip. The beds are comfortable, the trail around their farm is lovely, and the breakfasts are varied and good. The feeding platforms outside the porch attract a large variety of birds also enjoying...

We originally booked two casitas, one for my wife and I and the other for our daughter. When we arrived, Donald asked if we wanted to keep the two different casitas or if we would prefer the just completed two bedroom casita which would be cheaper. We chose the two bedroom and were pleased we did. The fit and finish...

“Our casita was spacious and comfortable. Be aware that some construction is still going on. It did not bother us, however you should expect some noise as they continue to complete a new casita and work to put some finishing touches on others. ”
