It is what it is. We stayed overnight in our camper to break up our journey. Friendly staff. We were allowed to park up wherever we wanted. Allowed us to have a fire as well. Clean showers and toilets. Hot water. There is a bar and food available. Only downside is that it is right next to the highway - so noisy trucks all night. Nothing a pair of earplugs won’t solve 😊. The place does not pretend to be anything which it is not! Comfortable overnight stay.

Good place to park up for the night if you're in a caravan or campervans. The location is right near the highway so it can be a noisy night's sleep. We were camped in a tent and it stormed for 15mins therefore the floor of our site got flooded. We had fun trying to keep the water out though. Just happened to catch the rain at the wrong time. There are powered sites, a pool guarded by two goats, shower and laundry facilities and cabins available on site.

Room Tip: Shower early, lots of little frogs in the showers. Don't camp with a tent, you may get flooded...

A very basic park which provided a great over night stay. As the Caravan park is located on the Bruce highway the traffic is fairly constant though. Amenities were clean and tidy & staff are friendly.

Simply one of the most terrible places I’ve ever seen. Avoid it like the plague unless you want a scungy old room with a bed that has springs sticking in you and a filthy sofa that was frayed and completely unusable. The place is over run with tradies and contractors so you “dining experience” is filled with them wandering in and out in various stages of undress, some showered , some not, while they order meals and beers etc. Our burgers were disgusting - inedible and we heard the lady at the counter asking the back of house if “those burgers are thawed in the microwave yet” It was a truly unforgettable experience and all for the wrong reasons. Do yourself a favour and just keep driving!

For a $99 night accommodation the room was appalling. The pillow had dribble stains and dried blood stains and no pillow protector to cover it up. (had a pillow slip) Thank goodness I had my own pillow with me! Two bath towels and bath mat - no hand towel or face washers. The room was not very clean nor the glasses. The lounge suite was a joke with the springs gone, you sank down into a hole plus it had threads coming off it. You can pick up a neat, clean second hand lounge for $50 better than this one. The night meals were very average and pricey for what you got. They clearly take advantage of the lack of choice in accommodation on the road between Rockhampton and the north towns. Give this place a miss.

We stayed overnight in a powered caravan site. We received a warm friendly welcome at checkin. Price for 2A $26.00. All site are drive in and you can choose your own site. We stayed hooked up, plenty of room. The amenities were clean and showers were very good, lots of hot water and good pressure. I would highly recommend this establishment, great for an overnight stop and supporting local business.

This place needs to be closed down $84 for a workman’s hut that would be fine if it was clean but we had no soap a bathroom covered in mould no cold water in the fridge, cracked walls, a window that was that dirty I wrote please clean me in the dirt. It smelt so bad the bedding was dirty the cups, pillows everything was filthy. The pool was unclean. The price of the restaurant food is ridiculous and you wouldn’t eat there anywhere if the cleanliness is anything to go by. No undercover parking, our air conditioning was that loud we couldn’t sleep but turn it off and it’s like sleeping in a sweat box. This place is cashing in on people travelling through and the distance between towns north and south being far away. If travelling through plan your drive to miss this place.

Perfect for a road trip stopover. It was very noisy as right beside Bruce Hwy but ammenities were clean, showers hot and the staff friendly. Low cost per night meant this was a much better option (hot showers, power and water) than free roadside spots for us. The kids enjoyed frog spotting in the drains!

Clean, tidy and friendly service. The pool was lovely and clean so a welcome relief from a long hot drive. Cabins are basic with plenty of tea and coffee and loo paper so attention to detail of traveller's needs. Reception has a great selection of beverages and the price is very reasonable.

Stayed in a motel room. Had air con and Tv. Room was clean beds ok Fridge well stocked with necessities. no noise from road. Has a pool but as the country is in a drought water is scarce and so not in use. We kept the shower short and saved on towels to help the business. Dined in the dining room average prices meal was ok. Glad to support a bush business.
