At the right price, this hotel is a good choice. An isolated location on a lovely island with a nice beach. We had a 24 hour delay from Manchester outbound but we didn't let that spoil the holiday. Some guests need to learn that being safe is better than being at the bottom of the Atlantic and need to get...

Everybody was friendly and helpfull but must mention Yamila and Joni in the bar, nothing was to much trouble and they really made us welcome. We stayed at SCG for a fortnight in November, having stayed previously in 2010. Good Points: The rooms are lovely - we did have a problem with our room in that when it rained water leaked in through the wardrobe, and into the safe! The staff were great though, and although we had to move rooms they sorted this out...

This property is older and a bit worn....as is all of Cuba....the beaches are amazing, but the sand fleas loved me...they hang out in sea weed! Windy in November on the beach but the kite surfers love it. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The food is hit and miss, not a lot of fresh fruit or vegetables (typical)....
