We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at cobblers this week. It is situated on a fabulous beach with turquoise waters, wonderful fish and turtles and the most beautiful sunsets. The gardens are stunning, the cocktails are excellent, the food delicious and it is just simply a lovely peaceful place to relax in colonial Barbados charm. Staff are wonderful and the...

We spent a week at Cobblers Cove on honeymoon. We were greeted warmly and shown to our room with a welcome drink to fill out paperwork rather than having to hang around at reception after a tiring journey...good idea! Our suite was simple and spacious not exactly luxurious but still charming. The staff were all attentive and pleasant although occasionally...

An evening meal on the terrace is an experience to treasure. From the moment you arrive to see the salmon pink façade and brilliant white shutters, you know you are in for a treat. Entering the restaurant, that overlooks the gently lapping aqua Caribbean, through the old-style colonial day rooms, expectations are high, and we were not disappointed. This is...

We adored the place with great food, water sports included and excellent customer service. Speightstown is nothing to rave about and taxis are readily available through the hotel to visit restaurants and shops.

A very quaint hotel where you are initially greeted by a very friendly receptionist and manager. The rooms are well furnished and airy but to get light into the room also allows insects in as there is no glass. There is a little kitchenette that is most welcome for making your own early morning tea or coffee. The sun beds...

Being picked up from the airport from a young gentleman who was dressed very smart in a suit, he was extremely friendly and professional in welcoming us to the island. We thought we had to walk the distance to the taxi but he was parked just outside the arrival area where you get the luxury cars. I said to my...

We had a wonderful time at Cobblers Cove. The cocktails are fabulous, I particularly recommend the White Lady. The staff are courteous and attentive, the manager and his wife charming. The food is delicious and plentiful. Cobblers Cove overlooks an idyllic bay with white sand and turquoise sea, the swimming is excellent, they even have a private raft to swim...

At first impression, Cobblers Cove is a bit of an old people's home, a colonial relic full of ancient Brits. But when you settle down, it's a lovely, peaceful retreat and the clientele help to produce a rather mellow, laid back atmosphere. The gardens are magnificent and give each of the suites plenty of privacy. We had a downstairs garden...

Towards the end of January I booked a short stay (through Expedia) for my wife and I in November of this year. According to my booking with Expedia no charges or cancellation fees would be applied until much nearer the date of our visit. I had to use my credit card to guarantee the booking. A day later the hotel...

Unfortunately this review is not accurate as on booking notification would have been received from Expedia that a deposit is required. We are investigating this with Expedia, however in the meantime, if you would like to contact me in person, I would be delighted to straighten out any misunderstanding of our booking policy. Kind regards Will Oakley General Manager

Cobblers Cove is a refined, small hotel near Speightstown and near enough to walk to for lunch and the supermarket. It has lovely, lush gardens and the Camelot restaurant is beautifully situated and serves first class cuisine. Breakfast always has a special. We had an ocean view suite which was lovely and quiet. In our late sixties we were probably...
