I visited Barbados with my sister for 10 days over the Christmas period in 2012 and had the pleasure in staying at Meridian Inn. We followed TripAdvisor's review on it and chose it as our accomodation and we were right to do so! Meridian Inn is nothing like a 5-star hotel with amazing facilites etc. but that's exactly why we...

Just back from a 5 night stay here on my first visit to Barbados. I used the reviews before making my choice and very happy with the outcome. The hotel is small and the rooms clean, basic but more than satisfactory for what I needed. The only downside of the hotel is that the walls are paper thin with some...

Stayed here in November for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's not fancy but it is very good value for money. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. It is literally 1 minute away from the beach and the staff are excellent and friendly. Do not expect luxury or sea views or 5 star service but...

We keep coming back! If you are looking for a simple environment with a connection to all that the Gap has this could be your stop too. Expect less and receive more. The rooms are efficiency settings and are kept in good condition by the staff. The front office, Graham, Michele and Joyce will do their best to make your...

My boyfriend and I just came back from a four night stay here. We loved the place. It's not fancy, and it is small. But, for the price, it was wonderful. The room was very clean, the staff was professional and cheerful, and their daily housekeeping was excellent. As a matter of fact, one housekeeper even cleaned the sand from...

Good basic accommodation for the money, air-con, full size fridge, good shower. Seems reasonably secure, upper floors closed off with a locked gate after 6pm. Free wi-fi was reliable and reasonable speed. Great location, less than a minute to Turtle beach - if you're cheeky you can use the Turtle Beach Hotel loungers (get a navy blue beach towel or...

I found the place to be very clean and the staff friendly. It had all the things I like about a room. A/C, fridge, stove, hot water and the shower pressure was great. The ladies who clean the room come every day and do an excellent job. TV worked fine and had lots of channels and the free wifi was a...

I've stayed at the Meridian Inn twice this year (2012) and both times I've enjoyed my stay. The staff, Paulette, Juliette and Mary (next door Dover) is extremely friendly and helpful. These people go above and beyond with recommendations that work. The rooms are clean, I believe they're in the middle of upgrading, it's safe and cost efficient. For US...

Its basic with little or no amenities, yet what it lacks in this it makes up for in both service and location......just a stones throw from one of the best (and quietest) beaches in Barbados, yet within a short walking distance of lawrence gap and all its restaurants and bars. If youre doing the caribbean on a budget then this...

Decent as far as apartments go. All the main amenities and good maid service. Loved the location most of all. I had a problem with my knee at the time so it was difficult climbing the stairs but I guess next time I won't stay in the penthouse! Also there was never anyone in the office who could give me...
