We booked three units for a group of friends cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail. The motel was ideally located, very clean and comfortable. We used the garden setting at the front of the motel, enjoying a few glasses of wine and nibbles after a long day cycling. A perfect location in the lovely small town. High recommended. We will definitely...

Appearances can be deceiving and this place doesn't look that great from the road. What you find inside is a warm and efficient welcome and very tidy units which are well maintained, spotlessly clean and well provisioned. We stayed here two nights. We were very comfortable. The unit we were in had four single beds, two in a separate bedroom,...

We stayed here at the end of the Hauraki rail trail cycle. The hosts are thoughtful and knowledgeable about what to do and where to go. They stored our bags and bikes as well as kindly extending check out as they were not fully booked. The rooms were very clean and for the price were excellent value with all amenities...

Stayed one night in a king studio. Motel old but in good condition. Very clean. Close to town and walks, hot mineral pools. Owner helpful. Little extras in unit like chocolates, pepper mints, biscuits.

We stayed here for one night at the end of biking the Hauraki Rail Trail. The motel was spotlessly clean and the owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. We locked our bikes in his shed overnight and he kindly held our baggage until 4pm when the shuttle was due to collect us. He advised us on a number of places...

The motel has been around a long time, no doubt of that and its decor reflects that - yet it offers you a bit of a difference and ones we certainly enjoyed. Everything fro little packet of insect repellent to chocolates and mints (strategically placed under a small non-smoking sign), make-up removal wipes to two packets of biscuits even. While...
