We spent 2 weeks here. Loved it every minute. Ilaria and Nicola are the best and we couldn't have had it any better. Everything so well maintained, clean, thoughtful. Waking up with view of ocean and olive trees, swimming in the spacious pool. Both kids had plenty of projects just wandering around the lovely property. Fireplace for BBQ was heated every night so we had yummy burgers and marshmallows. Apartment was just great. Spacious. Everything you need. Clean. Plenty of towels, weekly complete cleaning included - never had that before! Simply said - we're considering coming back next year - something we normally don't do. But for us as adults it was the first vacation where we could really recharge and relax with the kids being free to run around with lots of friends they made w/ other kids on the property.

Stayed for 9 days. What a great place this is. On top of a hill. Magnifisant views. Clean and spacy appartment. Friendly and very helpfull owners. The only thing that we found an adventure was the unpaved road to house 🙂 But that should not keep you from going!

We spent 7 days at San Quirico May 2018. The apartments are spacious and nicely decorated. Apartments are very clean andViews on all sides are breathtaking. Swimming pool is top with sufficient sun beds. For the kids enough space to play football or to relax in the meeting room. To enter the complex you need to drive (off-road) ca. 2km up the hill but this is easy to do also with ordinary car, absolutely no 4x4 required ;-) TIP: walking trail. Exit the complex via the gates, go to the right, walk along the abandoned house till you reach an open field and go to right uphill, go to the right after 10 min. We walked for hours with nice views on the lodge, hills and sea. Use your GPS to track your position. TIP: Volterra and San Gimignano are beautiful middle aged towns. Keep in mind that it will cost at least 75 min cq 2 hrs to reach. TIP: don’t forget to visit Livorno.

We spent one week in San Quirico. It is a fantastic place. We were very warmly welcomed by Nicola, Elisabetta and Ilaria. Nicola even offered us some fresh eggs from the chickens! We had booked the San Quirico apartment (with airconditioning) and it had all we needed. The whole estate has been very well taken care of, the apartment was very clean and complete and most of all the place is very private. It is a bit of a rocky road (1,5km) to the agriturismo (encountering wild boars), but not problematic. The pool is also very clean (salt water we think), with sun loungers and a shower. Every evening, Nicola lightens the BBQ and while preparing your food, the views over the Med are unbelievable. Don't be surprised to see wild horses grazing in front of the house either. They do no harm, but it indicates how fantastic and original this place is. We will certainly come back! Thank you for a great week!

For two weeks in August, this was our 'home'. But what kind of home! The combination of a great team of hosts, a beautiful appartment, spectacular views (especially the sunsets are one of a kind!), and the fact that the house is isolated, but at the same time close to fantastic beaches, villages etc., make our holiday at San Quirico a memory to never forget; and a place to come back to for sure!
