Stayed here on a weekend trip to Mount Etna, was given a choice of room and picked one overlooking Mount. . Fredirica greeted us on arrival and provided tea and homemade cake. Dinner was excellent and very good value, Sara the owners daughter was an excellent host and could not do enough for us. The hotel is in a stunning...

We stayed in this hotel on a whim. We had a wonderfully warm reception and were given an amazing room with brilliant views both of the Ionian sea and Etna. The food was cooked on-site and breakfasts were extensive and freshly prepared. Great place. We would go back.

From old ruins this family not only built the borgo and hotel themselves, into a magnificent property, they then set out to deliver the best experience in the Etna region, and then surpassed that promise. Mother and daughter run the kitchen, producing unexpected, imaginative, incredibly satisfying regional food. Another daughter and father and son run the property and make you...

We really enjoyed staying here. You do need a car to get here. Besides the village at walking distance with a few restaurants and of course Mount Etna at about 20 minutes by car on winding roads, there is not much to do. But that doesn't have to be a problem as the hotel offers great views over the mountains...

The hotel was rated 9.6 when I was looking for one. Actually it deserves 10 - not less. The location is very comfortable for traveling to Taormina or Catania. The place is quite, beautiful and very good management by a great family- with dearest Sara on the front. Great breakfast almost everything homemade. Great service above anything regular. Best recommend...

The location is a bit out of the way but we were able to find it easily with Google Maps. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and given a choice of rooms. We selected a smaller room because it seemed a bit more private and had access onto a large patio with comfortable benches overlooking the valley. The on-site restaurant...

We stayed here for one week at the beginning of September, primarily to see Mount Etna but also to visit the surrounding area including Taormina. From the moment we arrived we were looked after superbly by Sara ( one of the owners) and her staff. They really could not do enough for you and managed to do this without being...

My wife and I spent three nights at this hotel in order to discover the area and above all to see Mount Etna. From our arrival (which was very late due to a delay of our flight in) until our departure we were overwhelmed by the friendlyness of all the staff. This family-owned hotel (mama in the kitchen, daddy clearly...

We were instantly greeted by one of the Petralia family members who own and run the place. Made us feel at home at all times. The place is beautiful with greenery all the way to the sea and Mount Etna right behind us. The accommodation was beautiful, well kept place and comfortable rooms. After every night we were asked about...

What a delightful place!! Imagine a kind of small village at the foot of the volcano, with a 360 view from the sea, terraces filled with olive and lemon trees and the volcano in the background. It has been renovated with great taste (and love) by a family, who runs the place very efficiently, with a wonderful sense of hospitality....
