We loved our comfortable and roomy bungalow and enjoyed the natural setting. We enjoyed the feeling of living partially out of doors, a little like luxury camping, but very clean and comfortable with a good bed, private bathroom and adequate kitchen. Be aware that you must provide your own supplies including paper goods although you will find supplies for the...

Had a wonderful week's stay at La Case Creole. Location can't be beat, convenient to Deshaies, 300m elevation keeps the bugs away and enjoys cooling breezes, especially with the open concept bungalow. No need for air conditioning. Sunrises every morning from the porch. The full kitchen makes self-catering a great option, there is a supermarket (Super U) down the hill...

We stayed in December 2 weeks in Guadeloupe. We stayed at three different locations in three different accommodations. Piton bungalow was a great place to stay. Our bungalow was terrific. Wonderful, very clean, spacious, plenty of storage, practically furnished, large terrace, we were missing nothing. The location also pleased us, but you definitely need a car. The owners are very...

We got exactly what we wanted, a bungalow with two rooms and a outdoor living room/kitchen so that we could avoid going to restaurants all the time. However, there are plenty of good restaurants 10 min away with car, in Deshaies. Valerie and Matthieu are very service minded and informative on what you can do. This is a great place...

We just came back from Guadalupe and Piton Bungalows a few days ago. We loved everything about our stay there. Great bungalow with open air living area and kitchen, we also loved the open air (but private) shower. The hosts Valérie et Matthieu were so friendly and helpful with all sorts of advice. We came in late and it was...

We stayed at the Piton Bungalows from August 15 for six nights and absolutely loved it! Our bungalow (Anse des Ilets?) was just the right size for the two of us. No frills, mind you, but full of rustic charm. The elevated setting offers amazing vistas along with cool and comfortable sleeping – no air conditioning needed! A little open...

Difficult to figure out where to start... beginning with its perfect location in the hills of Base Terre, with a soft cool breeze that keeps the temperature nice at any time of day and night, this place is snuggled in a bright and luscious tropical vegetation that makes it hard not to just smile and relax from the moment you...

We stayed for 7 days at Piton Bungalows in April. It was great and very much as the reviews say. Our cottage overlooked the hill / mountain, and we enjoyed the hammock and the fresh breezes. If you are concerned about mosquitoes as I was for a moment before we left for our trip, please know that that was not...

If your ideal holiday is to escape the frenzied life of city dwellers and decompress - you've found it! Piton Bungalows is a hidden jewel concealed and surrounded by a canopy of tropical foliage. You need transport as the bungalows are about an hour from the airport. The self-catering bungalows are very private (the showers are divine) and lovingly maintained...

The Piton Bungalows are the perfect place to stay for exploring the more rugged, scenic western half of Guadeloupe (Basse-Terre). From here you can easily visit the botanical and zoological gardens, the national park, the Cousteau underwater park surrounding Isle Pigeon, and many excellent beaches. The bungalows are located about 3.4 km inland from the spectacular Grand Anse beach, and...
