Yes this hotel needs some love and attention as the decor is a little tired! But when you drive in you see this attractive hotel nestled next to a lovely lake. Very picturesque in late October with all the wonderful colour of the trees and sunshine putting the temperatures in the late 20's! I booked the evening before with 'Claire'...

After negotiating Perigueux, no mean feat in the Friday rush hour, we arrived to a really relaxed welcome and having booked in went to our room which I have to say is really top notch, we also ate in the restaurant having an excellent meal, beautifully presented and extremely good eating, I personally would recommend this hotel to anyone, it...

A picturesque setting by the river. Generally the whole place is tired however the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are attentive and Clare was particularly helpful. The restaurant offers superb dishes, great wines, all at reasonable prices.

Although a little dark, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked plus lots of storage. The bed was a bit lumpy though, otherwise I'd give a higher review. The french doors opened out onto a kind of landing but only overlooked the parking area and the drive. According to the hotel's website, the pool should have closed the...

A pretty good hotel on a nice little pond with a restaurant. If you do not speak french though you might have a tough time. There was a girl who was english, but not when we checked in and not when we tried to order dinner, so we had a lot of fun and were not quite sure what we...

Stayed overnight to do some sightseeing in Perigueux. We booked a double room overlooking the lake and were happy with this choice. Spacious room, clean and with a small balcony. We enjoyed our evening meal from a reasonably priced menu and breakfast was OK ...not the most varied we have experienced but sufficient. Some reviews have commented about the need...

We ate at the restaurant below the hotel and it was the best 4 course menu at €22 we have had the past 4 weeks traveling in France! The presentation of the main dish (duck confit) was of Michelin standard and tasted just as good! The ginger prawn cassoulet entree was also devine and a wonderful creme brûlée to finish...

We arrived quite late and were still very warmly welcomed by the host. The view on the lake towards sunset was spectacular. The room was huge, with large doors that open on a little balcony to overlook the lake. So although it was quite hot, there was no need for a fan and definitly no need for an air-con. All...
