Although listed on TripAdvisor as Gasthof Brunner, we booked it as Gasthof Zum Goldenen Schiff. My wife and I were very pleased with our stay in this hotel. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room we had faced on the main square (Hauptplatz), so we had a beautiful view (night and morning pictures); of course, that entailed some...

We stayed at the Zum Goldenen Schiff right on the city square Prices are pretty reasonable. Very quiet with clean, modern, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and a great shower. On Wednesdays there's a market on the square where they sell local fare. Breakfast was good and service was great. There's a restaurant downstairs and it is pretty good. The...

Our three-person bike tour stayed for the night in April, having reserved a double and a single room. Our booking company listed the hotel as Zum Goldenen Schiff, but it's the same place. To our great surprise and pleasure, the double was not a room with 2 beds, but a two room suite with a shared a bathroom. The owners,...

The bar doubles up as the reception and that's where the fun begins. The hotel has a modern phase and an old phase. some of my group were in the old phase and i was in the new phase. Either ways, the rooms are nice and cozy. The restaurant/bar/reception downstairs is a great place to unwind and the city square is...

This Gasthof did not come up on TripAdvisor when we were looking for a restaurant in Enns, but the number of locals drew us in, The simple menu proved to be good. The service was excellent, attentive but relaxed. We enjoyed the best veal amd asparagus of the holiday and a main course salad with cheese and bacon. The bread...

This hotel booking was under the name Hotel Zum Goldenen Schiff and the rooms we stayed in had been totally remodelled and very modern. The location is right on the old town square and withing walking distance of many restaurants and shops. We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and pretty much everything was closed, including the restaurant at the hotel....

The name has changed to Zum Goldenen Shiff, and the hotel is being remodeled. Location is terrific, right on the square. The manager and staff at this hotel are just terrific. Friendly, accommodating and warm. They have one hotel room in the tower and the manager let us go up and see the bell tower and that room. The breakfast...

The hotel is nicely positioned in the main square of the old town. It's a small place and has a restaurant with tables that spill in the square. Our room was tiny and quite dark, though it proved to be nicely cool without the need for air conditioning. Like a lot of these small scale Austrian hotels the beds are...
