I choose this hotel considering the reviews on Trip Advisor. My brother in law was getting married in Mazamitla so we decided to take advantage of the wedding and spend a few days in this beautiful town. Let start with the pros:The property is very close from downtown. Our Chalet was beautiful and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and clean....

Rented two cabins for one night. Great place to hike, there is a nice waterfall to see. The town is lovely and we happened to be there for the flower festival which was great. The cabins themselves are clean and no frills. I can't say my bed was comfortable but for one night was adequate. The grounds are beautifully kept...

Good for a weekend with friends (or with your "plus one") We had to made reservations with enough anticipation (2 months approx), and first thing that caught our attention was the check in hour ... 18:09 hrs!!! Way too late for my taste. Price is affordable and the cabins are comfy, but something has to be done with the beds...

The area, the location, the vegetation, the tranquility, the accomodations, the great service, the climate, everything was fantastic. The ambiance was like New England or Canada. Great experience which I will repeat gladly in the future. Jack

Years ago, we held a church youth retreat at Monteverde, which worked very well, having rented a large cabin for the girls and another for the guys. This time we went as a family with adult children and had a lovely, restful time. (The youth retreat was not particularly restful!) We walked around town, got lunch, and walked to the...

This is the Four Seasons. They are cabins. They are comfortable. I like the little kitchen set up. We made lots of yummy dishes there. We rode horses the next day to the waterfall. I would do it again. We just happened to get lucky and arrive when the Flower Festival was going on and Mariachi Vargas was playing downtown....

Spent a weekend here and it was decent. I like the location because it seems in the middle of nowhere in the mountains. But it is very woodsy and a real cabin. Location is very nice, quiet and serene and if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is a good place to go and relax...

Spent a quick 2 days as a retreat last month. Positives are - nice place to unwind, cabanas are rustic but comfortable enough, food was good, staff were helpful. Not so great bits - streets are unpaved and cabanas are at different levels - so when it rains, which it did quite hard, progress is slow and muddy. At least...
