Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have experienced a stay at this welcoming and beautifully curated spotless B&B. Set in the midst of vineyards and an easy drive from Parma, Modena, Bologna and Reggio Emilia, Maicol (and his whole family) warmly invites in guests from around the world at this 7 apartment, artfully appointed and restored villa/farmhouse. From the (included in rate) cooked to order delicious breakfast with eggs, bacon, pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit, cakes, cheese and meats to the yoga mat Maicol will bring to you if he sees you exercising in nature, this B&B is spectacular! The rooms have air conditioning, comfy beds, soft sheets, a selection of pillows, a closet with plentiful hangers, a hairdryer, plush towels, and great products in the bathroom (soaps, body wash, shampoo and conditioner). Also, the accessible kitchen has complementary coffee, water and a refrigerator guests can store food and beverages in. We also tried a bottle of their sparkling wine which was refreshing and a lovely accompaniment as we sat in the courtyards and admired the gardens and nature. I can't overstate how accommodating and lovely the host Maicol is. Bonus - his Mother and Father are some of the fabulous bakers and cooks in the kitchen. The wonderful smell of baked goods floods the B&B in the morning. One note on transportation. While we took a train to Reggio Emilia and then a taxi to the B&B (about $30 Euros), we definitely recommend having a car to tour the region (we had an event that provided transportation). If you'd like recommendations, not to worry, Maicol can send you a PDF full of amazing things to do. Thank you again Maicol for making our trip a true memory of a lifetime. ~ Julie

As many other reviewers have stated, this is a gorgeous property, run by very kind and charming people.
We only stayed one night while traveling from Toscana to the north of Italy, but we enjoyed every moment we were there.
Every detail is perfect, the rooms very spacious and comfortable and breakfast was delicious with lots of local and homemade dishes to try.
We will definitely stay again when traveling through the region.
Grazie mille! 😊

very friendly and helpful staff, everybody is super nice and smiling all the time. the room was extraordinarily clean and very spacious and cozy. Breakfast was very good.
The only downside: the building is very noisy. you will hear other guests talk and walk in their rooms, take a shower, use the toilet etc. Also, during our stay there were a lot of little children who were playing in the hallways, so for us it was not exactly a quiet and peaceful getaway.

Loved our two-night stay at Verdenoce. Felt like we were in a movie when we turned into the grape-vine lined driveway. The room was gorgeously appointed with incredible views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was delicious and the family who run it are incredibly helpful with suggestions for place to eat and things to do. They even let us do some (much needed) laundry.

This is one amazing place, a restored farmhouse surrounded by vinyards which at this time of year were all in different hues of reds, browns and greens. We booked last minute and managed to find the last room which in fact was a small apartment with its own living room and kitchen. It was so cosy, with attention to all the little details.....very different from the usual cold agriturismi. They also have a fully equipped kitchen for the guests' disposal but we opted to eat out because the choice of restaurants in emilia romagna is superb. The hosts Maicol and Aluani together with their parents are great hosts. They speak perfect English and were ever so helpful. Breakfast was delightful with lots of homemade stuff and freshly prepared eggs to our liking. We rented a car and visited the major cities such as Bologna, Modena, Reggio emilia and Parma which are all easily reached yet then we happily returned to our peaceful place in the wonderful nature.
I highly, highly recommend this place......it can't get any better. We will surely be back.

For 4 days I have been the guest of Maicol and his family (and neighbours) at this wonderful place. There are just 7 rooms and apartments and everyone is made to feel like a part of the family. Breakfast is outstanding, cooked to order with eggs, bacon, savoury pastries, meat, cheese, fruit and homemade cakes (made by Maicol’s mother). The whole place has a great feel, clearly renovated recently with modern touches, but with respect for its history. The surrounding countryside is worth exploring and it’s also a great base for Modena, Parma, Maranello and Bologna, all easily reached.

I can't say enough positive things about this beautiful B & B. The house and property is like something out of a movie!! The moment we pulled up our host Maicol came over and greeted us and carried our bags upstairs. He had taken the initiative and booking us on parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar factory tours which was much appreciated. He also recommended restaurants for dinner. Our room was beautiful and had stunning views over their vineyards. We ended up going out each morning then spent the afternoon relaxing in the grounds and consumed a couple of bottles of the wine their family produces. We decided to eat in the last night and we were welcome to use all the kitchen facilities (note as everywhere in Italy there is no microwave). Breakfast was served by lovely ladies and we ate a feast each morning of local produce outside in the sunshine. If I am lucky enough to travel back to this part of the world I would definitely stay here again. Jo and Sandra.

The structure is in perfect condition, thanks to continuous care and maintenance. A beautiful farmhouse surrounded by hectares of vineyards and silence.
The welcome from Maicol and his family was super professional, organized and courteous.
The à la carte breakfast is prepared with passion and great quality of each raw material.
The location is strategic for visiting the cultural (for example the ducal palace of Sassuolo, see photo) and food and wine gems of the area.
Well done! We'll be back

It was more than perfect! Michael and his family are amazing people! The farm is around an area full of pots in a quiet and beautiful place, the rooms are high level and there is a drop to the details, there is a nice shared kitchen where you can make food or take wine from the family's crafts.
Michael was a kind man and we helped him a lot with recommendations for reservations at the restaurant and even helped us with bureaucratic problems because of a patient parking report and a good intent to help.
We will definitely go back there again! one of the experiences you shouldn't miss in this area

Verdenoce was a wonderful stay. Micol and his entire staff were so welcoming and accommodating, even opening breakfast early when we had to leave the property for a tour. The room was very clean and comfortable and we even had a beautiful view to the vineyard. Can't wait to return.
