We had a dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food was avarage, service was slow despite the fact that the place was almost empty. We got the wrong bill, the staff was obviously cheating, we had to make our point, then we got it right.

This is larger and grander than the Hotel Sterh, with more facilities (though the pool was only open until 11am so I didn't get to use it), but most importantly for me had a better bed with better quality, white bed linen. The staff at the front desk all spoke English and were really friendly and helpful. It might be...

I have spent three nights in the Tygyn Darkhan hotel during a business Trip in March. Yakutsk is not very big, hence I found the location to be appropriate. If you turn right once you leave the hotel, at the end of the street you will be able to find a nice pub and a very nice restaurant (that makes...

Hi, Stayed here in August 2015, in suite 401, hotel is fine, very clean, beds good, bathroom very spacious and with a mini bar and sofa's in the lounge it was very comfortable. Stayed at the hotel for five nights. It became like a second home to me. The heating is on and it was really hot in my room, so I had to open a window every night in order to sleep. Yes, it is old and eventually it needs to be renovated, It gives a feeling of an old good Soviet...

We spent three nights here before joining a cruise down the Lena river to Tiksi and back. The staff at Reception were friendly, helpful and efficient. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for the receptionists. Our bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom well lit. The wifi worked perfectly throughout our stay. The hotel's...

Stayed 3 night. Many problems. Check in was OK but they take some time with one's passport which I don't like. I'd rather not let it out of my sight. Reception staff spoke English, which was nice. Rooms are old, beds are mushy, no desk, limited power outlets. Reasonably clean, but everything is old and very worn. Wifi didn't work...

I stayed in the hotel only one night and also had dinner. It was very cold outside -38 degrees, but the hotel was nice and warm. The people were very friendly and the food very good. We were a group of people of Neryungriugol and passing through. The staff was very friendly and even made us a "take away" breakfast...

Tygyn Dahkan's central location, steps from Lenin Square, makes it easy to explore the central area of this sprawling city. While I was unsuccessful trying to book through the hotel's web site, there was no problem getting a room as a walk after arriving on a redeye flight at 7am. Helpful English-speaking desk staff. Late Soviet in style but recently...
